Are you ready for the rematch? Order #WilderFury2 on PPV: pbcham.ps/WilderFury2-YT
Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder and Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury fought to a split-decision draw in their epic SHOWTIME PPV title fight on December 1, 2018 in front of almost 20,000 fans at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
Fury (27-0-1, 19 KOs) miraculously overcame two knockdowns by Wilder (40-0-1, 39 KOs) - including an explosive one in the final round - in the improbable draw, which was the first heavyweight title pay-per-view bout in America since 2002. The judges scored the bout 115-111 for Wilder, 114-112 for Fury and 113-113.
“I think with the two knockdowns I definitely won the fight,” said Wilder, who has recorded a knockdown in each of his 41 pro fights and was defending his WBC belt for the eighth time since 2015. “We poured our hearts out tonight. We’re both warriors, but with those two drops I think I won the fight.”

This was just another Big Money Fixed Fight IMO. NO Way that you Knock Down the Champ 2X in the Fight and Come Up with a Draw in a Legit fight. That's why Fury immediately Reacted as The Winner after the last bell, even climbing on top of the ropes in his corner. That's because he knew that "The Fix was In" and that if survived the fight he wouldn't lose. It comes Down to Pimp Promoters who see even Bigger Paydays even if the Better Fighter must Eat Sh!t as the result. Boxing IS and ALWAYS Has Been a Very Dirty Sport. Yet, I still can't stop watching it !?!?

I just watched this whole fight for the first time, there's no way this should have been a draw. Wilder won this this fight 116-110 according to my scorecards. I gave Wilder eight rounds, and I gave Fury four rounds. Remember also, Wilder dropped Fury in the ninth and championship 12th round. There were two more fights after this to make up a trilogy, but Wilder beat Fury soundly in the first match and I can only think that boxing politics and business interests influenced the scoring of this match. There's no way this was a draw! Wilder clearly won more rounds than Fury and was more dominant with those two knockdowns.

Watching this back it would have been utterly ridiculous to give this fight to fury after the two knockdowns. There's a ton of fury fans who are history revisionists who have spread this total bullshit myth that fury battered and took wilder to school in this fight. That just didn't happen.

We all thought the fight in Rocky 1 was unrealistic. Great moment, and super dramatic when Rocky gets knocked the fuck out, but then miraculously gets back up to the complete shock of Apollo Creed. But come on, that would never happen in a real fight. Nearly 40 years later this happens. Crazier than a scripted movie scene, and 100% real. Legendary fight. EDIT: at 50:19 Wilder has basically the exact same look on his face as Apollo Creed in Rocky 1.

I think this commentary was reinserted after the fact. Similar to how they had this guy redue the Wilder v Ortiz 1 commentary. There must have been something wrong with Paulies opinions? I found it funny when the color commentator from Ortiz Wilder 1 was replaced; "treating each other like they have diplomatic immunity!" Rotfl. Bolo doesn't equal rope a dope. Wilder being introduced first was an absolute insult to him. He was the current reigning champion and as such should have been introduced second. Lineal championship is not an actual sanctioned belt. Secondly, Wilder CLEARLY won that fight via unanimous decision. He was absolutely robbed.

Wilder winning this fight on points is a hilarious conclusion. No way he wins 6 rounds (even is he wins 5 rounds, two of which are 10-8, he can only draw 113-113). So if rounds 9 and 12 are 10-8 rounds to Wilder, which other 4 rounds did you think he won?
