I called the service department. Initial connection is to be done by connecting to the camera via WiFi, and then turning cell data off and being connected to Bluetooth. Works great once you figure it out.

I fought with mine for 2 days. I wanted to take it back, but I needed a cell camera like now, and they didn't have another. Finally got it, "I Will NEVER" fight with another one like that ever again. I have to admit, once it was working,... it works beautifully. I am dreading the day when the batteries go dead, or get low.. I am honestly scared to power it down..

Well when I was at bass pro I was debating between this one and the stealth cam fusion and I went with the stealth cam and after watching this I’m glad I went with the stealth cam but honestly I’m kinda surprised cause I usually like wild game

Everything this guy said was true. I have same issues with mine. Company should be suited for selling known faulty product.

Sounds like someone already took the camera back and you got a return. Not the company’s fault. My experience is that ALL cell cameras are Finicky-firm ware updates,fresh battery, properly formatted as cards and we hunt in areas where cell service can be a challenge. Just know before you buy any cell camera it’s a struggle, but it’s worth it.

I have not had time to fool w/mine yet but I did read all the info about it and if we can get them going they are gonna be AWESOME. Btw, Did you download the new firmware for it? Most folks that have had trouble initially downloaded the new firmware and it hooked to app like a charm. Also that lil antenna is for the 150 yd live view so you can check the field b4 going in to see what’s on it(or from a stand that is within 150yds). I have tried to call WGI to ask if they have a particular solar panel that can be purchased w/it but they are so busy w/calls about the new camera/app they never answered. I wanted to add a solar panel to mine but they only have a tiny 6v plug and for the life of me I cannot find anything that will fit it...gonna make a homemade plug for it though. If you know of one that that is 6v & plugs in(not alligator clips let me know). Thanks

Had the same problem. Was able to contact support and did return my camera. They sent another that seems to work. But still disappointed with it.

Had the same exact issue with mine. After going back and forth with Wildgame, I had the camera replaced with another one where I purchased it. The new camera works just fine. I guess a large number of these cameras produced are trash 🤷🏼‍♂️

I got this camera as a gift and after seeing it was a wildgame I knew it was probably going to be junk i prefer cuddeback , but can i set the camera up as a regular camera or is it only able to be set as a cell cam?

I had to Bluetooth pair my game cam to my android and AT&T provider and it works fine but batteries need to be lithium or they go low very quickly.

Hold button on side 5/10 seconds till it flashes

Took me couple days got it to connect but only Bluetooth no cellular why can’t connect from Bluetooth range

I’ll say, I bought two spy points last week neither one of them would connect to service so I took them back bought the wild game cell camera and hooked up immediately and has been sending me pictures ever since

Have the same camera and cannot get it to connect. Called and emailed Wildgame and they are useless.

This camera can only handle a 32GB SD card or smaller or the activation will fail

I just bought this ..paid almost $400 Canadian for it and I needed to work today and I can’t get it connected ..keeps saying modem activation failed ..I did the updates and followed all the steps …oh and also says there is no SD card ..there is a brand new one in there 🤷‍♀️ very frustrated as I live in the middle of nowhere and I made a special 2 hr trip today just for this trail cam and now I have to go try to return it ?? And of course they have that stupid orange card that says not to return to the store ???? Ugh

Ii always had problems with spypoint since I started with trail cameras and they only last 1-2 years tops with me. Wild game is best and tacticam is a close second. Tacticam the pictures aren’t what they should be.

Wish I would have seen this review before purchasing, I've always liked WGI cameras but having the same issues every one else is having. When I try to view the pictures they delete before seeing them and the live stream will work for a couple minutes and then not work for several hours, For some reason it is ruining the SD cards and goes through batteries really quick, Definitely a total disappointment. Would not recommend anyone waste their time and money on this product! !!!

I bought 2 of these. One works great. The other one would not connect. When I started working with it, seems someone bought it, set it up then returned it. I guess once set up to an account it can not be set to a different account. That being said, if someone returned it, its not going to work for you. ATB

Total garbage. Won't connect to my wifi to update firmware. Made my wifi open and it still asks for a password

Turn cellular data off on your phone. It should work then. That’s what worked with me

Maybe you got a camera that someone else had and they just put it back out on the floor maybe if you bought a camera that hadn't been opened you might have had a better result just saying

I'd have to say Muddy Manifest is the worst, and their customer service absolutely sucks. Check the bad reviews for their app (Stealth Command) in the App Store.
