Great upload ...many thanks..you had a good experienced group even if a little old and well done. I'm home from the mountains at 72 ...but still enjoy the memories and dreams!

Fantastic effort. I always dream about climbing this peak as I used to the Tyrol area as child. Well done 👍

I think you will find that the mitterkarferner glacier is smaller. Ask the hut warden for advice about the route.

crazy i was there yesterday, from mitterkarferner is almost nothing left!!

How populated is the glacier and mountain top? Is it worth leaving at 5.30am or do you recommend having a good sleep and leave at 7am? This July I'm going to climb the Wildspitze from the Braunschweigerhütte and descend to the Breslauerhütte.

When we went there were only a few people on the mountain, and plenty of room on the summit. We left the Breslauer at 6 and that was early enough. We were the last group to leave. You could leave it a bit later, but the snow is getting softer later in the day. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
