Gabe loved her but he(whats an echos referred to as) was toxic. He didnt have good intentions when he dated her but it just happened by accident. I liked gabe before he was dodge. He wanted her all to himself. He was obsessed with the idea of her but that wasnt real pure love. In the fight after she was standing on the ledge and jumped he didnt jump down for her. He fought against her he was ready to kill her. He wanted her by his side but if she wasnt at his side he was ready to kill her. A true lover would let her be with who made her happy even if its not themselves . He was like she has to be with me or die. Shes right he just wanted to control her. It was just a obsession. Itwasnt love. You never ever hurt the ones u love. And he continued to hurt her.

Truth is when everyone abandoned her down the tunnel he was the only one going back for her he truly loved her in his own way and was happy whenever he got to spend time with her

I understand that, but it seems like she didn't love him even before she found out he was actually Dodge. If she really loved him before, she would not immediately start hating him, she would be shocked and heartbroken and she would definitely not throw herself on Scot right after. Plus the way she kept looking at Scot even while she was still dating Gabe. Even despite all of that, I still ship them even after all these years
