22 s will fit nice i got a 71 cutlass 22 fit perfectly

To anyone who wants to run this same set up I have 25s on the front 30s on back with 24s and my car looks better because I still have the trim on my fenders but you have to do a few tricks

I have a 71 chevelle I with a factory 12 bolt. I have been watching your channel and curious if you would happen to know what the widest tire I can get under the rear end with the factory set up. Right now I have a 10 inch wide tire but I was hoping to get 11 or 11 1/2.

You have to go with 25 series. That's what I have

Yea 71 caprice will tuck 28s... I got 24s on mine but an issue😉😉

Did you shorten your axle to fit the 24’s? Also what size lip is on the rear wheel.

There’s countless videos of chevelles with 24s on KZfaq buuuut your title insinuate you’re not sure that they will fit
