Your Videos made me get my Vee, lucky enough mine came with 2 Bros pipes 👌 Nice sound, do you have any fuel tuner? Thanks
@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 3 жыл бұрын
I'm glad to hear that and I hope that you're happy with the decision. I never got a fuel tuner. At 3750 RPM there's an issue as far as I remember but it's manageable and I was never convinced to spend money on a Power Commander or a custom fuel map. Don't worry, the bike doesn't need it.
@TheodorosArvanitis2
@TheodorosArvanitis2 4 ай бұрын
I totally dissagree. The bike is fi fuel limited at low revs. Get a Power commander and make a custom map. Mine, my 2004 is deristrected and made a custom map on a dyno to the power commander. Hickups at low revs are history. Smoothness everywhere. And 95.6 hp on the rear wheel (at at least 10-12%) to the crank. And the bike is already 20 years old and runs like a modern v-twin. Maximum cost: used Power commander 300€ + 100 € a custom map made in a dyno. And you have different a bike

That ain't bad, try 40 degree heat, packed in traffic, no room to filter and red lights every 500m for the next 5km, took about an hour to go from one end of town to the next. I was fucking cursing who ever thought it would be funny to place me in that situation. Got Home, i was literally sitting in a pile of my own dripping, boots, gloves, the full kit and caboodle. Could have easily killed some for a Ice-cream, lucky there weren't any little kids around at that time.
@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 8 жыл бұрын
+burns0100 I know it must've been terrible. I hate such situations and this is exactly why I cannot understand that not everywhere in the world filtering on a bike is legal. Imagine that you have to stand along with cars in a multi-kilometre traffic jam on a highway. There's no point in riding a bike in such situation! And no freedom - at least in the city. Poor children that may appear around with their ice cream or a cold drink!

our city has a similar "red wave" in downtown. you either do 23-25kmh or 80+ to catch greens. either direction. when i filed a complaint to the council, i got a response (after 3 months) that they are aware of the problem and are working on a solution. this was 2 years ago and it sometimes changes a bit (like to 30kmh), but it's still frustrating. even on a bicycle.
@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 8 жыл бұрын
+dan “omlett” t You did a really good job informing them. Here no one would care (3 months waiting for a reply is not really what I would call appropriate though) and so no one even tries to officially complain. If no one talks, then there's no stimulation for the authorities to do anything.
@omlett.1
@omlett.1 8 жыл бұрын
well, sending a complaint or a suggestion is free (it's actually "already payed for"), so many of my friends do it. it's another story though that nothing ever gets fixed, only turns into something else, but remains nonfunctional. c'est la vie :)
@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 8 жыл бұрын
dan t Hey, what does it mean that it's "already paid for"?! Does it mean that the delivery of the official letter to the authorities is free from any charge?
@omlett.1
@omlett.1 8 жыл бұрын
nope. we can just send these in as emails as well. and it's "already payed for", because there's an administrator browsing the internet all day long regardless if she (or he, but they are usually women) if there's anything flowing in or not. i guess every mayor's office/gov official has an email address to receive these. in every 1st and 2nd world country
@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 8 жыл бұрын
Ah, I see, for some reason I hand in mind that you have to deliver it on paper as this is still the most common way of communicating with authorities here where I live. Anyway - better for you!

That vstrom sounds incredible! Does anybody know is there something technical things to worry about when buying one of these older model stroms? Like weak clutch etc. ?
@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 8 жыл бұрын
Check clutch gasket and this element attached on the left side of the bike near gear lever - black thing that is also associated with clutch. Is a seal inside is becoming old or damaged, you may lose the ability to use clutch because the fluid goes away. This once happened to me

@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 8 жыл бұрын
+One Weird **** Well, this is not an easy question as it depends on what one considers a good bike. I liked it. It looks in an unique way, sounds really nice and accelerates really quickly. On the other hand the suspension is really still and the position did not suit me that well as I'm an enduro guy.

@SzczepanZZ
@SzczepanZZ 8 жыл бұрын
+wilq85 Obejrzyj jeszcze raz, w zwolnionym tempie.

@wilq85
@wilq85 8 жыл бұрын
@VToldsMotoShow
@VToldsMotoShow 8 жыл бұрын
@wilq85
@wilq85 8 жыл бұрын
Szerokiej drogi.
