@Onzurk The Warrior Alex is my favorite fighter. That being said, he's just a cash cow to make big fights. His fights got cherry picked for him. That why it makes sense for him to fight Jamal. Instead of feeding him to any wrestler.

@@onzurkthewarrior2822 It's not about earning necessarily but about what makes most sense business wise. If you wanna go with what makes sense, no LHW deserves a title shot at LHW aside from Jiri, same as Izzy at MW who will still be waiting for Alex at MW most likely even if Alex took 2 fights at LHW in the meantime, which I will address shortly. So I think the best thing to do is this: Outside of Israel Adesanya, there is no viable option yet to fight for either the LHW or MW belt imho. Jan, Ankalaev, Rakic all need another W before fighting for the title and Jiri will get an immediate title fight when he returns. So while those 3 sort out who will be next, along with Johnny Walker now maybe in the mix, I think having Alex Pereira vs Jamahal Hill makes the most sense. 1)Alex is already a massive MW who is more suited for LHW 2)Alex was really only brought to the UFC for a spectacle fight againt Izzy and he came in and accomplished thag goal by defeating him in MMA. He should now be lined up for fun fights only or againat clear cut contenders that will build his legacy, because he deserves that.. 3)Ankalaev and Jan both have to W again before even being considered for a title shot, likely twice even. So imho you do Ankalaev vs Rakic and Jan vs Walker and have those winners face each other for a title shot, giving time to sort the divison out while Alex fights for the belt and Jiri comes back. I know you're probably thinking about MW, but on to that now: Izzy waiting till the Fall or Winter to rematch Alex would be ideal to give Izzy time to add some tools to his arsenal and maybe inscrease his strength and power in the year off or so off. So basically imo, you have - Alex fight Hill for LHW belt in May. If Alex wins, he can choose between facing Izzy or Jiri next, with the pick hopefully being Jiri. That way win or lose, Alex can go back to MW to defend against the awaiting challenger who hopefully will be Izzy. - If Alex does indeed beat Hill and picks Jiri over Izzy, then you can have Izzy face someone like Whittaker/Costa/Khamzat, whichever one of those guys defeats the others etc, and have the fight be for the interim championship. That's the only reason I see IC belts to be made for injuries or moving to another division to challenge another champion. Champions should have up to a year to defend their belt at least and if they aren't expected to by the end of that time frame, an IC should he crowned. This way we get the most fun fights possible at once that maximizes everyone right now. You also give someone else a chance to be paid like a champ in the real champion's absence. That's a W for everyone, fans included.

Adesanya never took him down straight up he got him down in an exchange where Alex made a bad move and tried I weird trip on him and Izzy reversed it but other then that he couldn’t get Alex to the ground he’s improving he’s got glover training him

and but adesanya only took down alex because they were there exchanging and they end up being accommodated in the standup fight and even though the 2 are on the same striking level so much so that he managed to take the takedown just because of that if alex arrives to fight and the guy doesn't If he's as good as he is standing up, the guy will understand and he'll think I'll take him to the ground and that's when he can't do the same with adesanya vs whitakker adesanya vs marvin the only one who can beat alex is adesanya
