This is why causals will hate on his 2023 Ballondor. I mean it’s obv Messi wasn’t in his prime with his speed so ofc he’d use mbappe to feed him every chance he could but I mean when I say Messi tried to spoon feed mbappe I mean look at it. So ofc when they miss chances those assists never count and it becomes a big chance created but then ppl ignore it.

that's his 2022/2023 highlight. It was his last season in europe, before he joined the MLS. If Messi is used right by the coach, he's not having a real position. He goes where ever he sees options to make a play. That's basicaly the difference between him and the other great players. He has simply much more to offer than shooting at the goal. He's easy one of the best passers ever. Mbappe and him weren't really succesfull together. There was to much going on inside the team. Mbappe and Neymar had beef and stuff...it was disappointing.

Great reaction, but boy do you have a lot to learn 😂 Messi played with Mbpabbe and Neymar when he went to PSG in 2021. And yeah they did score a lot of goals. However, PSG defense was an absolute sieve but they won two League titles. At the end of the day by Messi standards...needless to say, it was not a good time and he transferred to Inter Miami in 2023 and afterwards he basically said that he hated his time in PSG, although he didn't want to leave Barcelona in the first place (he had to due to Barca financial situation). Messi is known for this passing, matter of fact, he is known to be more of a playmaker rather than a striker. He just happens to be good at scoring goals as well. A good video for you to check out would be European soccer explained for Americans; that would explain all the positions played by the players on the pitch. You could also have a look at a video by magicalmessi called Lionel Messi and the art of passing. Have fun! 😊

his worst ballon d'IOR season! check 2012 season, or even better, his best season of all 2019 (he had to do pretty much everything byhimself, and he did!) 2022 is just the one in which he finally won his world cup. and he did was phenomenal! but not even his average season! it was bellow.
