Subject to change, but my current opinion is no. Looks like a good offensive player, but even in these highlights he seems out of position defensively quite often. Might end up being a Tomori-esque situation.

To this day I hold the view that getting rid of Tomori was a massive mistake. With Ian, do you believe Chilwell/Cucu are better? Cucurella has improved massively playing the inverted role recently, and has extra cover as a result. I see no reason Ian wouldn't fare better currently, not to mention much higher prospective potential due to age

I think his height is the challenge why the coach av no believe in him coz its very risky using short guy in defense most especially in EPL, where u av some team all over having average height of over 6.2, not to talk about our own shaky squad right now
