Actually Clarence IS a Senate confirmed Supreme court Justice AND it is his JOB to judge. However- the supreme court is the only part of the court system that is in the constitution ,the rest was created by CONGRESS and THEY have Ethics rules - BUT the rules are not in the constitution and do not apply to them. And believe it or not it is their position to decide that one too. Anita Hill may have been truthful but once confirmed, it is no longer an issue EVEN if he admitted that now. THe only power the Congress has in this case is impeachment BUT that required a 2/3 vote of the Senate and NO individual party has EVER had that majority in the last 200 years. It would require Republicans to vote with the democrats and YOU are whistling Dixie if you expect that one. THomas Is not going to resign from the court - and legally is on it for LIFE. However- Supreme court justices DO eventually die.

Government jobs are jobs that serve the public. So many public servants (military, education, police, fire, etc.) make so much less and work so much more than SCOTUS. His sense of privilege is annoying. There needs to be a tighter job description and code of ethics for SCOTUS. Great reading. ✌️😁❤️👍

All the comments that I have read are so spot on. Allowing this "nogoodnik" to just walk or row away would be, to me, throwing in the towel. An offer he can't refuse could include a golden parachute and/or no prosecutions - it sticks in my craw. I want him and his "Natasha" to be thoroughly investigated and all that entails - he has disgraced the position on different levels. Not enough people mention his transgressions against Anita Hill. I remember those hearings to a degree and she was roasted. In 1991 Daddy Bush replaced a distinguished Thurgood Marshall with this A-hole. If we are to do some serious scrubbing of the Supreme Court besides Thomas, there can be NO WALKING AWAY!!! Now is not the time to get tired. VOTE BLUE UP AND DOWN THE LINE!!!!!!!!! Democracy first and foremost.

Thurgood Marshall was FIRST black justice in SCOTUS!!!!!! He was the lawyer who won the case destroying separate but equal doctrine. Please correct this for the audience. Justice Marshall’s legacy MUST be remembered!!!!!!!!!!! From NAACP: Thurgood Marshall was a civil rights lawyer who used the courts to fight Jim Crow and dismantle segregation in the U.S. Marshall was a towering figure who became the nation's first Black United States Supreme Court Justice. He is best known for arguing the historic 1954 Brown v. Board of Education case, in which the Supreme Court declared "separate but equal" unconstitutional in public schools.

I mean, technically, Supreme Court Justices are supposed to be non-partisan... easier said than done...right? We need to start paying far more attention to their extracurricular activities and hold them accountable for their actions for sure.
