I'm not a developer but a designer and using ai, I understand now that likes of DallE, midjourney will only increase the need for you to understand design as a field even more comprehensively- I can't churn out anything worthwhile results unless I include the style of design I want, the texture, if photograph the settings of the camera, etc. By that virtue, the designers will just have to get even better in these previously ignored aspects which I'm happy about kyuki pehle toh koi bhi apne aap ko graphic designer bula leta bina ye sab samjhe. Pata nai how this applies to engg but since tech is the same, I'm guessing it should.
