Thanks for the test. I would have thought it'd be still grass since the bales aren't really "in the game" when put into storage..and they keep the wrap colors like you've put 'em in.. So, good to know! 👍

hi looney , thanks for showing us this because i was also wondering if bales inside a storage unit will turn to silage. i never tried it out myself either so yeah. nice video and now we know but only if you take them out then.good stuff .

First off, thank you for the video. I was wondering if they fermented inside the silo. I'm on PC. I have tried a number of bale sheds as well as the in game one and I'm finding that if you have different color wrapped bales, then the first one in sets the color. For example, I like to set my color based on the field or the time I gathered the grass. I spawned a red, blue, and green bales. I loaded in the red then the next 2 and it showed 3 red bales. Next I tried the blue one first. Same thing. The same scheme works on the VDI Storage mod for storing pallets. First one in sets the color/fruit type. When you get them out, they come out the correct colors. Very weird. I may tinker with one of the mods and see why it sets the color. It may be the model of the bale inside the shed at the .i3d level. My best guest is they are all using the same API as the Giants bale storage and it's an internal decision. If anyone else knows of a solution or any info I'd love to hear it.
