Guyana has had one of the fastest growing economies in the world in the past few years. This all started when a massive oil discovery was made there, and as we know, oil is big money.
The GDP shot up to third in the Caribbean right behind Jamaica’s, and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
What do you think? Is Guyana going to overtake Jamaica soon?

They will definitely pass Jamaica by year end and will get close to Trinidad in the next 5 years. I'm happy for them. Hope all the proceeds will be passed down to benefit the citizens.

I would invest in Guyana. It is not a fair comparison to put Guyana and Trinidad and Jamaica in the same boat when Guyana has more oil than TT and Jamaica has no oil. Guyana will outpace Jamaica in leaps and bounds and also beat TT in a short space of time.

Guyana is a better option than Trinidad,, I think it’s will be more distributed across all ethnicities, where Trinidad wealth is more centered to the Indians

@@andrewmacc340 I agree. Guyanese PM looks like a man of the peoples and he will circulate to all ethnic groups.

I guess that you don’t live in Guyana or you are the typical Guyanese that complains about anything and everything. Tell the world about how in Guyana that despite the complaints by Guyanese of being poor and not making or having any money. We are partying everyday, especially, on weekends with some foreign music artist like there is no tomorrow. Then, we have the daily drinking of rum, beer and other liquor on a daily basis at the Guinness bars and other places and venues throughout the Guyana. Does this behaviors represent a people that are poor and struggling to make ends meet. Plus, Western Union, Money Gram and other collecting places are filled up with our women collecting money from their overseas connections.
Something mind-blowing is happening in Suriname
