In Shelby's case this is one reason people don't have trust. All this flirting, sending pictures and red lipstick with no clear communication gets the other person to assume you want to be in a relationship with them, have sex with them, have interest in them and trouble arises afterward. The other person shouldn't assume and ask what the intentions are. A great lesson in the real wourld is use more clear communication and less body language or less non verbals where things are left vague/unknown.

Ive been in situations like Shelby. Watching how he cornered her and refused to take no for an answer even though she made numerous attempts to get him to back off had my body on the verge of an anxiety attack. It took me back to being in her place. She looked shaken up afterwards. I hope that situation does not scar her even though it was done as safely as possible. I would recommend stepping in sooner if another situation like this arises. It was hard to watch. Thank goodness Alexis did this test. She saved herself big time. This episode has shocked me so much, even I feel uncomfortable for Shelby. That man is disgusting, he was being way too pushy and cornered her. He didn't care about Alexis one bit. Love the video! And in case anyone's wondering... the reason UDY and the team didn't step in sooner is because they didn't know that "Jose" was being that pushy towards Shelby at the time. They couldn't see or hear everything that was going on (which is another problem in itself). They also didnt know that he kissed her without her consent until after the fact. They also didnt know about the mistletoe until after the fact...

I love these videos. Well planned and executed. But I think this really showed the importance of having a safe word. Because that man was a straight predator.
