Most of the listener's of hiphop in the Philippines always dreamin a filipino artist become an international artist specially the new generation. But Apl already did it. Before we have Ez mil and manila grey, Apl always been putting the Philippines to the map. I always appreciate Apl for always being proud to our country. A big group black eyed peas have a filipino songs because of Apl can u imagine that. Much love sir.

I really admire Allan. He's so down to earth and never forgot where he came from. He is never ashamed of being pinoy unlike most US born pinoys. If you're fil-am or just recently migrated here you know what I'm talking about. Of all my Asian friends, fil ams are the ones who seemed to hide that part of them. I never got that. If I acted like them lola's tsenelas would be flying across the room to hit me 😂

@@rgm6595 You dudes are delusional. I've never heard of any Fil Am being ashamed of their roots. On the contrary Filipinos in the Philippines, well some of them anyway, push their image of "Filipino" on them. Most Filipino I know in the Philippines love whitening their skin, and it doesn't matter if they are male or female. They pretend they are Northeast Asian, you know because Muh Asian thingy, which is just a fabrication anyway. Most Fil Ams like their dark skin and love being dark. But they are also Americans. There is a difference just like Chamorros and Puerto Ricans are Americans. If anything Filipinos in the Philippines seem to be lost in what their identity is. They have more in common genetically and culturally to the people of the Pacific, and even to some extent, Latin American than anyone in "Asia" yet deny it and think being dark is dirty.

Ithiel Jose I agree with you. Most of my Fil-Am friends are proud as I am. Also I am happy with my skin color - the Pinoys from the PI (like me) here in the US love using whitening soap 🧼 🧼 The Americans love our skin color here. Nothing to be ashamed of. Xoxo 😘

Yes, madaming hollywood famous actors and celebrities are overwhelmed by their money and popularity, get hooked into drugs and trouble, some are into promiscuousity, too extravagant lifestyle,but these guys are into pure music, arts, friendship and helping charities, so humble,,considering that most of their albums were always in the top billboard and they had Grammy nominations and awards.

They shouldn't have been shocked, they both lived poor too. Life in the province is different from living in manila and living in some parts of L.A. where they came is better than the province. The only thing is they didn't live with pigs, chicken but they lived with gang infested and scared for their lives everyday. Anyway, why even bring that up.

Tofu sinigang is miso soup they add tofu/tokwa to the soup

Miso soup is different. Tufo Snigang is the same as filipino sinigang but vegan version without any animal products on it. There are videos on KZfaq about it.
