From the trailer, HongJoong met a girl who helped them in Prestige Academy. The MV, they show how they enter the academy. Wooyoung and Yunho create a device like a pirate ship hologram. Hongjoong and Yeosang pretend as a street rebel and put the device to the police car. Mingi and Jongho encounter with Z government's officer and kill them. San and Seonghwa dance in public and getting dragged to Academy. After all, all of them manage to fulfill their mission and enter the Academy. The song are celebrating their success. They already end The World Era. The next comeback, it will be a new era. Anyway, if you watch ATEEZ performance - competition, show, concert - and MV. Try to look at HongJoong's arm. He never missed wearing his captain armband. The captain have his own symbols. Google 'Hong Joong captain symbol' and you will find a symbol of moon phases. If he not wear the armband, the symbol will be on his shirt pocket, the hairband or locket. yes the first rapper was mingi. 21:54 the red hair guy is San! He was the boxer in Bouncy and pulling down the ball in Halazia. One of the best performers and dancers and lead vocalist of Ateez. You've mentioned you don't look into boy grp dancing that much but I gotta say Ateez is objectively the best performance group in 4th gen. They're particularly GREAT at dancing more than other groups and their on stage presence is phenomenal! In other groups we can point out the main dancer kind of easily but it's hard to tell with Ateez. They debuted with 3 main dancers and now they have 4 main dancers. Not to mention their solid vocal line and they always sing live. They're also known as "the last 30 seconds group" cuz they always go crazy near the end. I recommend Pirate King (their debut) and Wonderland. If you like black and red colors, I recommend Hala Hala. Guerrilla performance from their concert sounds so much better with the iconic "break the wall" fan chant. I recommend checking out their Mama performance of Bouncy+Crazy Form with a VCR in the beginning. Also they will be performing in Coachella, I'm just so excited to see!

Thank you for watching Ateez, they are indeed a entertaining & talented group. I understand you have only exposure to one other boy group but it would be great to NOT compare them in any way as they are not the same in any way besides them being males. As I said, they are talented and their music in intricate, has depth and the composition of their songs are rhythmically make sense. Their lore is weaved throughout their albums and the tales (while set fictionally) are relatable. I hope you can enjoy Ateez, uniquely...as themselves, going forward in the future.

I'm late but thanks for the shoutout and for being interested in learning more about them! :D Glad you liked them, and I enjoyed the editing, makes it better! Hongjoong was not missing in Crazy Form, you saw him at the beggining saying get up, and later rapping when the police was chasing him and he was doing hip thrusts on top of the card while they were pointing with the guns at him lol And none of the members missed in any music video except Mingi in Fireworks, tho we heard his voice! About Guerrilla, believe me is a grower😌 And the best thing is the ending chant live were fans chant "Break the Wall!" I recommend searching "ateez kcon guerrilla" one of my favorite performances of Guerrilla! For another rock song watch The Black Cat Nero, that one is always loved even first listen! Also the live version on the program Immortal Songs were they first performed it. Tho the live better watch it on your own bc the channel KBS always blocks unless you edit it with opacity and all that. The Black Cat Nero is a cover from an old song of the group Turbo (and at the same time the chorus melody from an italian children song), but is so different including genre and much better than the original in my opinion! About what to watch next I do think you could start from the beggining but only reacting first to the MVs. Maybe you already saw but on the Ateez channel you watched they have a playlist with only the music videos and others with each album content so you could start from there and maybe after you can react to each album in order? Ah but on that playlist they didn't include the intro so I recommend watching the intro first called Intro Long Journey bc it ties to Pirate King! And after Pirate King in this order: Treasure, Utopia, Illusion, Wave, Aurora, Wonderland, Answer and outro long journey. That's all the mvs of Treasure series, then you can follow what you want to watch on the rest of the album playlists! :) Ah I forgot! hello new subscriber here i just want to correct a thing about hongjoong he actually applied to kq as a producer not as a rapper he wrote over 40 songs for ateez before debuting but he is not only a lyricist he composes and arrange their music as well not only for ateez but for xikers too so he is heavy involved in the production work of the company and for the eenie meenie song he has credits as a lyricist and as a composer i recommend one of his latest songs that produced by him called matz (seonghwa co wrote his rap lines for the first time btw in this song) it is his first unit song with seonghwa i think u really gonna like it btw there is subtitle for their songs if u want to know what they are saying i really look forward to ur journey with ateez i know u will like them

i randomly came across this vid but i love seeing people discover my favourite groups! have fun with your ateez journey, they have a lot of variety on their albums in terms of genres for the titles & b-sides. Also if you can watch their coachella performance in your spare time, i'd highly recommend (they did i think 9-10 songs for their set). Very high energy performers, also you could check out their dance vids (pre-debut) they have 3-4 i believe.

Ateez chorus most of the time focused on antidrop... So you r thinking about a hard beat drop and aggressive chorus but Ateez dont do that most of the time. They prefer anti drop their chorus is slower than the whole song... This is Ateez sifnature style. Ateez always build up a song so well but then just do a antidrop not a aggressive chorus always... But people expect an aggressive one, so some of the new listener dont like Ateez song at first glance

Through many of their songs and MVs bluebirds are mentioned and in Korea it is a symbol of hope and/or good news. In Halazia, the lyrics talk about the blue bird that’s lost its voice to symbolize the people of Strictland (World Z) that have lost their freedom of expression and emotion (a blue feather was also included in the album Halazia was on). In Crazy Form, you see the blue bird in the end marking the beginnings the their success in restoring emotions in World Z and of the transition from World Z to World A.
