In this video i repair A 1983 Honda QR50.
Engine: 49cc two-stroke, 2-valve, single cylinder OIL INJECTED!
Single-speed with automatic clutch 35 kg or 77.1 lb

Great find Pete! I spent many hours on a Qr50 in the early 80's with a couple of mates after school / weekends terrorising the local fields and woods! The sound of it brings back many happy memories. I'm sure your daughter will love it! ❤️🇬🇧

Recently got my sons QR50 out of the shed after 30 years, fitted new plug, cleaned carb and fitted new coil she now runs sweeet, if I recall there is a couple of de restriction mods you can do, remove throttle stop screw underneath twist throttle also remove the restriction washer that's fitted between where the exhaust bolts to the engine, these two mods make a huge difference a real huge difference just be mindful who will ride the bike, you or a child.

Boxers are probably my favorite breed of dog. Most others dogs had attacked that annoiyikg sounding gromlin bike first, asked questions later 😅 looks like a nice toy though. I'd love to get one for my nephew. 3yrs old and still riding push bikes 🤭 man i would've sold a testicle to get one of those when i was 5. Not that i knew the value of balls back then, but still

Stupid questing how do I drain the oil on the qr50s I want to get the shaft casing off? Any help is appreciated it

You would need to checkout the owners service manual.

If you ve got a Hare&Forbes in your neck of the woods they have them. Theres a couple of models i have both but the one old mates using here is probably the best as far as being able to chuck tools and parts on it as you go. Theyve gone up in price recently at around $ 700-$800 but that may have changed..

Some years ago, you made a really beautiful, highly stylized video where the camera pans over/around a yellow 599(same bike I have) and I was going to show it to a buddy; did you remove that one? Any chance it's still alive somewhere? I was digging around in my liked videos and realized eventually you have this new channel since then, but it doesn't seem to be in your current uploads. Hey mate, I just picked up one myself. What ratio of 2stroke do you put in it? Do I premix than add to fuel or is there a seperate pump for it? Cheers

Mine has a separate mixer you pour it Into. So it does it itself.

Im 14 in finland its usual to buy a 50cc moped when youre 15, would this but 1986 be a good practise moped? How quick is one these under 55 kg? Good video!

Hey Pete just a question I have just purchased a 2000 qr50 but I’m having trouble tuning it do u have any advice because as I start it the revs just stay high??

ial the idle screw all the way in then 1/4 out. also id check the oil injector screw thingo (dont know its name) as that could also be adjusted wrong. mine was ok, just needed a retune thats all

@@AridersLifeYT thanks I’ll have a go tomorrow as I had it going and was trying to tune and the revs got that high I couldn’t turn the bike off with the kill switch I had to pull the fuel line out so I’m not sure about that might be because the refs were so high it would turn off I’m not sure do u know if I’m wrong 😀
