Andrew, You're in college already??? I thought you were still a senior in high school. I hope you're studying engineering or something technical. You have a gift. By the way, I love those glossy red rims your Dad painted. They look stunning on the 55. 👍

Just remember you can't put a regular oil pressure gauge on there. They are only a 17 lb guage.

You need to be a tractor judge for the major ag mechanics shows!

This is a great video, and you have a great channel. I'm really enjoying it. I have some questions, though. I hope you don't mind. What are you studying in college and what year are you in? And, how old are you? Thanks. Also, where do you live, and what is the name of your college?

andrew. lhad one of those. it is a very good tractor but the shift on the transmission takes a little getting used to. best wishes and happy holidays
@thesmallenginekid6 ай бұрын
They are kind of goofy, but I am already used to the Oliver shift pattern with my 70. They are the same I believe aside from super series having 2 reverse speeds. And I am left handed so the left side shift lever may be smoother for us people.

As you have been reassembling tractors etc for a while I assume that you could have given some thought to the future. What do you plan to do? Will the fixing, re building become a major part of your life or will be something you do when you have the time?

Hello. 3 questions would you perhaps like restore a McCormick WD9 or John Deere R or D ? What is planned for 2024? Is there any dream Tractor that you absolutey must have in your Collection? Sorry my English is Not good. I am a big Fan From 🇩🇪

I want to find a diesel. Like a John Deere R or 730. Or an Oliver with the Detroit Engine.

Did you get that tractor from Boyertown PA Aumann auction?
@thesmallenginekid6 ай бұрын
Yes, I was watching online all the nice tractors. I kind of overpaid for a non runner stuck engine with a hard to find rusted through rim.
@kaisantiqueengines5696 ай бұрын
@@thesmallenginekid That was a really cool collection of tractors. I ended up getting the John Deere Model L with the homemade mount on the front. Also I’m glad you were able to get that Oliver it’s certainly a cool tractor and I’m excited to be able to watch it get restored.

Are ya gonna keep the 55 Andrew? I've seen vids where ya sold lawnmowers and such...do ya have a whole collection of this old iron or is there a market for these really nice looking old relics?
@thesmallenginekid6 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. If you have more than 10 tractors it is not advisable to count them - I stopped counting! Restored tractors are usually worth less than the cost of parts, fluids, and paint needed to bring them back to life. The reward is the experience and pride.

@@thesmallenginekid HAHAHA, the same is true of Volkswagens and Squarebody Trucks.😬 Bet. We need a quick tour of them when you're home for Christmas, maybe 1-2 mins on each...simple edit...🤷♂️
