In today's video will it work our hedge-rescued beet harvester which spent 7 years abandoned in the hedge, we've spent a lot of time and money fixing it up, and now its time to make or break harvesting our crop of sugar beet to be used as cattle feed. That video brings back many memories of harvesting sugar beet back in the seventies with a Ford 5000 and an older type Armer no carousels back then just chain link . I remember those discs falling off usually on miserable cold and wet day. best of luck to you.

I get your frustration on that harvester Phil. If it helps I was going to my sisters for Christmas this morning, it was my job to bring the brussels and the pudding. Tested myself for covid this morning, Positive! so my lunch was Brussels Sprouts and Xmas pudding. Good luck,

Hope everyone had a merry Christmas.. I would recommend Denso tape (Grease tape )for covering anything that's exposed to weather and very good at protecting hydraulic hoses from the weather when they are wrapped in it. Not cheap stuff but bloody good 😁. Stay safe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Hey happy Christmas to ye. Nothing will break your heart as quickly as a beet harvester put on a new belt on ours and one went out through the discs cut it across was told then I should have wet them First day always the worst
