Finally a woman with common sense not only that I'd love to see what the original original budget for this project would have costed her if nothing would have been wrong with the car

The car was fully restored and given back to my dad. It was season 1, episode 3 on Fox business My Dream Car. This is just a portion of the show. There was no way I would have junked this car.

You can't sorry to say, Kelly didn't have the extra money to have this car restored FOX network pitched in absolutely nothing and neither did the garage team and she mentioned on another site this was a mistake even have them take it apart and she scrap the whole car for parts.. I don't even know why they bothered to show this video to begin with! I bet her father was in disbelief when he found out they stripped this car apart and all for nothing.. so their is no part 2 of anything.. I want to know why "FOX News" got involved with this to start with...

Did a frame-off restore on a 68 SS Chevelle doing most of the work myself. Initially kept track of costs but soon realized the dollars spent were racking up fast so I decided to focus on the experience rather than the cost. Car turned out great but I’ll never do another one.

At the 2:30 mark she said $20,000 dollars, when he came back towards the end and told her $30k she kept saying theirs no WAY she could do that. And I guess this show ends here because she wanted it within the month and this was over 2 months ago.. I was thinking no way they can do everything for $20k even at $30k seemed like a bargain for a frame off restoration...

It's a 4 speed Chevelle, it's really special. I had a '71, of all the things I've owned and sold, that's about the only thing I wish I still had.

People do you realize you can buy one that has everything you want for 40,000 and still sell this one for 8 to 10 grand as it sits. Suckers are born everyday. If her dad cared so much about it, he would have worked on it.

I'll do all the work for $40k or less! I'd never junk a 66 Chevelle I've done 4 frame off Chevelle's various years in last 6 years

If you listen to the video at the 2:30 mark she said $20,000 dollars, theirs no WAY she gets a frame off restoration for $20k he quoted her $30k towards the end and she said NO way I can do that.. she wanted it within the month and this was over 2 months ago so I guess she was broken hearted and the show ended there.. I was thinking even $30k for a frame off restoration was a bargain...

@@KellyHolzman-jj2rc probably referring to a video I saw on the original Fox business where in one video it said Kelly didn't have the money to restore this car and it'll be scrapped. That's what the video said! Glad you got your dad's car restored for him. But no one seems to be able to find that original video anywhere! I've looked through fox business where it was first aired and absolutely nothing on the Conquer custom website either. Like nothing. So it's confusing to say the least.

Yeah, I’m not sure why Fox didn’t put a link to the episode or something so the ending was known. It was a great experience and aired a few times over the years. I think you can still watch it if you search My Dream Car on whatever search engine you use, but I’m not a fan of watching myself on tv so I’m not 100% sure about it. Sorry for the confusion, I just wanted to get some truth out because there seems to be some incorrect info out there. Conquer Custom was amazing and without them and Fox Business, my dads car would probably not be what it is today.

That was the most ridiculous i have ever seen It's a shame that these guys call themselves mechanics, gives us all a bad name. There is no need what so ever to lift the body off the frame on that car. Everything is fixable without that. And $10000 to lift the body wtf??. It should be criminal to pose as mechanics when all you set out to do is rip off your clients.
