Yeah, I think Kansas is definitely on the recruiting come up, but with Cure specifically the idea of “how they use their TE’s” is a little tough to sell on after losing an incredible OC like AK. Not saying K-State didn’t make a change but since it was an internal hire for the position the system likely won’t change much. Also on that front, K-State just got Sinnott to the league as a second round pick after walking on. Think Kansas will take some prospects from the Cats at some point, but Cure doesn’t feel like there’s much of an alley to head to Lawrence imo. Would also wonder about the logistics of competitions with his brother for playtime considering he’s younger and may upstage Leyton at times. Not saying them playing together isn’t something that wouldn’t be cool, but I’m not sure it’s as big of a selling point to make up much ground.

@@JoeTillery all valid points but as far as KSU goes what is the perk of Avery recruiting him? If Avery is as good as advertised he shouldn’t be at KSU past his junior season which means Cure will only play with him as a freshmen.

@@cjboyer4355 brother that’s not the way this works. Avery is willingly choosing to stay at KSU and be a part of the change. He’s recruiting because he’s the future of K-State, has a similar path, and is a huge recruiting tool. Wouldn’t look further than that. It’s similar as to why I’d have Jalon Daniels recruiting skill positions because he’s the face of the program and a model of what each player can become. It kinda would be like leaving your Ferrari in the garage and using a Kia soul to recruit just because the Ferrari won’t be there in the future. Not sure if that makes sense but if you have em, use em

Great question! I don’t have any insight on it but I can give you my guesses. Would bet it’s 5 people, Avery, Austin Moore, DJ Giddens or Dylan Edwards (basically depends on if DJ feels like talking or not imo), Marquis Sigle, and Des Purnell. Jayce Brown or Keegan Johnson could go too but we’ll have to see! Thanks for the question!
