As someone who played LBP2 in her teen years, we definitely need a LBP4!

Man my whole preteen and teen years were devoted to making levels in LBP. I would love nothing more than an LBP4 finally. Thanks for spreading the word. Hopefully SONY gets the message

Supposedly Mm is currently working on a new game but no information about the game is known. I'm triple crossing my fingers, please for the love of the lbp community that's hanging on by a string, please let it be lbp4😫

I think the easiest way for SONY to make an awesome game would be if they made a game that contains all levels from LBP1, 2, 3, even PSP and maybe Vita, the journey home DLC, and a few new levels, and if they kept making DLCs like journey home, which is my favorite since its keeping LBP's style every month or so for like 10$. It would make a lot of money for them, and lot of fun for us :)

i feel like littlebigplanet can make a big return and compete with roblox if they really wanted to and i think that's what littlebigplanet hub was going to be but they never did it

Lbp3 was my childhood even though many say it’s a bad game it still holds a place in my heart

I've recently played through LBP Vita and I realize that the plot of that game basically perfectly sums up today, just that the end boss hasn't been defeated

Restiched is in the makings from an indie company but I don't have high hopes from indies but I hope it succeeds. I hate that LP3 is basically LBP 2.5 or 2.1 (Due to all the bugs). Same graphics, No 60 fps, Infinite loading.... I hate when sequels goes backwards instead of making game better... such a demise.

lbp was my childhood ever since the release of the first game. i will never forget how many memories i made with it and hope lbp 4 becomes a thing and improves upon lbp3's bugs p.s. i hope mm return to the series

I just hope the game won't be rushed, plus If Sumo Digital still be in charge I hope they'll come back to original aesthetic like all crafted levels mixed with realistic backgrounds and everyday objects. (Oh and I hope if Mm will be working with them, please help them managing with the server stuff) Sony lately misses out on making games for franchises with big potential (will never forget gravity rush) Or if Lbp trilogy remaster happens, PLEASE MULTI-PLATFORM IT PC OR WHATEVER

Lbp3 was a great game as my first lbp game, I need a lbp4 because i went back to lbp1 and lbp2 and enjoyed it on the ps3 like everybody did, lbp4 needs to have 2d-3d and more exploring plus creation n fun!

This game was my literally my childhood and me and my sis always role played on this one Superhero game😭😭😭😭

i am extremely ashamed to say that LBP3 was my first game in the series and so i saw nothing wrong with it. i am probably one of like 2 people who actually liked (and kind of still likes) the third game

Media molecule is ending support for dreams, they said they'll not make a dreams 2 or anything related to that, they didn't say they wont make an LBP4 though... could this mean something? Even the thought alone of an LBP4 makes me so excited lmao

If I had to assume, developing a good UGC base is very time consuming and must be done well for it to work. It took Dreams years to come out, just for it to be ok at best. Why Dreams didn't work like LBP is a whole other discussion, but Sony probably thinks the time and money to make a new LBP isn't worth it, and I think the sales of Saba is gonna make it harder for this mindset to change.

Loved both videos. Very accurate points btw. If it wasn't for LBP, I wouldn't be a programmer funny enough. Do you think Hytale will be the LBP replacement with it's creative tools made for the community?

this is how they’re going to revive the series: they rerelease LBP + LBP2 as one game , released via playstation AND PC . after that it’s easy , with how simple it is to blow up things these days (tiktok , ig , youtube) LBPs multiplayer would instantly be populated once again and introduce an entire new fanbase via PC , after this they release their best game yet: LBP4

Been playing LBP3 on the RPCS3 custom server. Can play peoples maps and everything. I never got to play this game growing up as I didnt have a PS3 so its like a breath of fresh air playing this, despite being so many years late. This type of game deserves another installment, they dont make games like this anymore but it has everything someone could want. Games where you create your own content and then others play your maps to earn those rewards its just an endless system. I love it.

We need lbp 4

Take all the features from all the mainline games (yes, including LBP3, the canonization of "more than three playable layers" is important). Take all the Story Mode levels as separate campaigns you can independently play through, N. Sane Trilogy style. Bring back all the DLC, or at least the ones they still have licenses to, and for the ones they don't, put the DLC-exclusive game features (PotC's water, that weird gravity goo from the Muppets, etc) into the base game, or do that anyway so game mechanics aren't locked behind a DLC paywall. *_Make it available on PC, ideally with cross-play, or at minimum cross-platform level sharing._* THAT... is how you make LittleBigPlanet 4. Oh, and no microtransactions like LBP Hub would've had.

BTW sumo helped make lbp vita before Lbp3 themselves and vita has no bugs that I can think of

Sumo isn't that bad of a company. They're just co-developing too many games, and we're rushed by sony, to have the game released before christmas (or something like that). At the time of making Littlebigplanet, they we're developing one of the modes within Disney Infinity - which is something of a Littlebigplanet, but 3D, and with Disney characters - and it's pretty solid, in my opinion (They made toybox speedway, but also they had to make some content for the toybox (creative mode of this game)). I think that Sumo would also be able to a solid installment in the series.

We might not get it in this decade, but I feel if we showed Sony how big the fanbase for LBP still is they would make LBP4 in the 2030's for nostalgia!

Tbh there gonna have to turn lbp4 into a game that’s kinda similar to lbp2 like story wise and the graphics have to be way better than lbp 3 and more abilities than lbp 3 and it needs something in the game extremely cool

As much as I really want a lbp4, I don't think that we're going to get one. If Media Molecule wanted to make lbp3, they would have done so. Instead, they got Sumo to do it. That kind of tells that Media Molecule is done with lbp.
