Sir I am sure that monthly fee is not the only source of revenue as they have copyright holder of famous dialogues & music which is a intangible MOAT for the company. In current situation, due to reel, youtube shorts, & other short video apps they are earning a huge amount.

Never saw anyone on KZfaq doing brand promotion with such perfection not even the Tvf yes I said it ! It sounded very natural and was very well homogenized with the primary content. Netflix in terms of quality has far superior content then any other streaming app. Even exclusive movies like Mank, Irishman, Extraction etc are highly entertaining coming from some of the finest filmmakers.

Mank was fine (Not Fincher's best), The Irishman was arguably Scorcese's worst film, Extraction had a mindless script. As 'good' as Netflix is, HBO Max is still the single greatest streaming service in terms of quality of content.

I remember the time when I followed think school. Very few amount of followers in KZfaq followed by Instagram. I wondered why their content hasn't reached people. Netflix won't turn out any justifiable profit in the coming years if it doesn't create it's own franchise, like MCU or DC or James bond etc. I mean netflix originals are good, but what you really need to get the customers hooked on to, is a great franchise. Disney buying marvel back in 2009 was a stroke of genius. Many criticized Disney's decision for doing so, but fast forward 10 years later in 2019, and endgame is the top earning movie at the box office in history. Period.

Well i guess, Netflix can compete the HBO and Disney in two ways, ONE - by penetrating into the countries with creating local good contents all around the world (like prime is doing on mirzapur/family man), and this content will be specific to specific countries to counter HBO. TWO- Get some collaborations with the Anime world or to create its own anime (as it has wide spectators) to counter Disney. Agree?

Such an excellent analysis.... one of the serious problem that all OTT platforms will face is the piracy.. whether Netflix or Prime video... they'll have to deal with that too...and the messaging services like telegram are also in this,.... Netflix specifically will suffer more because of this since subscription is their only income source... while others can survive from other sources of revenue...

Hello sir,i was doing research on second income stream to Netflix and got a very interesting news that Netflix will use Gaming industry as its secondary income stream as gaming is its one of the biggest competitor.Gaming industry is 3.5times the movie industry and 7 times the music industry.The have hired Mike verdu,former facebook Executive for this plan. 😊

You told in the video that netflix used online streaming platform when every body was fighting for th DVDs back in 2007. Now what I believe that Netflix should move to VR/AR Technology, Because its going to be future in entertainment stream. AR and VR is the future for movies Tv shows and also great scope in marketing or digital marketing as well.

Back then the infrastructure (both videos and hardware) for online streaming was mostly laid, but in today's situation, we have at best 3D movies. They will need content in VR, so it will be difficult for them this time.

i feel like this is a pepsi and coke case where once you know the brand you will opt for coke but in reality if you dont know the brand you might be liking both and even pepsi more . same way here netflix here is pepsi and the cococola here is disney and hbo who made their branding and customers loyalty by shows like avengers

It's happening, may be? 10 months after your video and prediction, Netflix is loosing its market share, customer base and revenue. It's hard time for Netflix to stay ahead forever in this competition, unless something disruptive again.

Wow the 4th idea was awesome. Partnering with Walmart and competing against Amazon. Best idea ever. I think they should recruit you for this idea. I mean sooner or later if Walmart overtakes Amazon the revenue is also to Netflix right. Oh my god, what an idea. Mark the calendar you're gonna do another video after Netflix using this strategy

If Netflix continue to operate in the same model, Amazon will crush Netflix Bcz Amazon is playing with huge chunks of data..of it's customers(in many segments like music,books,video , shopping etc..) which in turn links to playing with people.
