As a tank main, it is nice seeing more coming to the role. The only thing I wish warrior had was a lust shout. It would help with Mythic+ utility, but also give a tank class, a lust skill. Currently tanks are the only class that has 0 access to lust. Plus it fits with the theme of inspiring morale to your troops. Good breakdown. Keep it up bro. Sadly, prot had very little changes from last expac to now. But they are certainly tanky.

PWarr is a great tank for players looking to get into tanking. Easy mitigation and doesnt take much damage. However, its toolkit doesnt compete with the other tanks. DK got too many goodies, it will most likely be meta, that and DH are still going to be extremely strong. However, if you enjoy playing PWarr and dont intend on pushing the highest of keys, youre going to be perfectly fine. Have fun!

@@BenchwarmerWoW I always play Warrior! Lol. Usually Arms/Fury for raid and Ill go Prot/DPS for keys. Whatever I can get in most groups fastest. So usually Prot.

@@BenchwarmerWoW I play all 6 throughout the season, have been debating going dk or war for my main and first alt though. I am worried about dk at high levels. Monk is also supposed to be fire this season.

@@Gimpo925 yeah bdk is amazing so far. But higher keys it will get spicy, brew is amazing right now. They've really done well with it, war is a safe bet also

The bit at start where it has “many defensives” for spell and physical damage is a bit of a stretch It has a single magic defensive which is the worst among all tanks, and last stand is definitely not a magic defensive

Don't forget we have spell reflect too! When played right it can be incredibly effective.

I must say, the ones who stick to their class throughout always seem to be warriors. As someone who hasn't spent a lot of time on a Warrior, what do you like the most about it?

@@BenchwarmerWoW Because it's literally the best class lol jk but in all seriousness. It's the perfect class for me tanky (even as a dps), hits hard but can also hit fast, no downtime always pressing something, no magic or ranged pussy shit we just smash your face into little sushi rolls.

Hey Bench! Quick tip. I'd like to think i'm not a "awesome" player, definitely more of a mediocre... I usually stay around 3k io cause anything beyond that is just too much trouble. And something I learned that is super important to tanks is POSITIONING. The first thing I noticed in your video is you are constantly giving your back to mobs, and positioning yourself as 1 of the dps specs. You look like you play dps and is trying to tank. So the tip is. check your positioning. I dont think any harm was done cause someone who tanks probably noticed right away how you were playing, and you also right away identified that you were playing it wrong. But I think you might want to check again the fundaments of tanking and you probably are going to have a massive different impression on everything. I hope I'm not stepping out of line here. You look like you are new to the game or at least new to tanking. Since I feel like we are in the same boat I gave you a few hints because you are posting informative videos that.... may be... biased... cause you are still lacking experience. I Hope to see new videos soon. Nice video.

Hey! No you're not stepping over any line whatsoever! In fact you're doing the very thing this community is being built around, which is being supportive and helping people. But you're right my positioning sucks but it's getting better. I'm not a new player but I am to tanking in M+. Until my decision to main tank in WW I've played mainly healer or ranged in m+ and mythic raiding so melee range and tanking is new territory. It's giving me a great new way to play and the purpose of these videos is to discuss what tanking each class is like for newbies to the role like me. Which tank do you think will be at the top?

@@BenchwarmerWoW From what I'm seeing currently, most likely Brew or Blood. I think Blood will always remain as at least one of the tanks in raid and this season, possibly M+ as well.

Until tuning kicks in rn the 2 strongest have been bdk and brew so far there very far ahead . I’m leaning more towards bdk at this rate tho the changes are very good both defence and offence wise as I have a feeling brew will get a big nerf soon prot warrior is however on the top end of the tanks in my opinion . But as always tuning will be king and determine what’s meta and most of the time a big part of it will be what dps are meta .

I would agree with you here. Id like to say, other than VDH, it's been quite a fair race in Dragonflight when it came to tank balance so perhaps it will be the same in TWW. In a perfect world the balance of tanking would be completely equal and we could play whatever we wanted!

@@richardwallace8382 if you're referring to the stagger issue on beta. Yes it's been fixed. DPS wise I'd say warriors are up there with brew as well, shield slam slaps when used right.

Yeah I had heard stagger was acting up but glad to hear they've fixed it! Appreciate the info - I'm thinking either brew or warrior will decide closer to the time!

@@BenchwarmerWoW I believe vengeance dh will be pretty strong it's just in such a good spot prot warr has been very meh for few years now with no major changes

@@That_kind_of_orc I think so too, we will see what happens with the bets changes. I've already seen some for dh about sigil changes. I would however like to see another spec representing the Meta tank this time around, possibly bdk.
