It is quite a big challenge to code something like this. So if you are really into the game I can some imagine that it is a really fun and engaging exercise to code this aimassist. Ethically it is wrong and I would not do it. But I can see the appeal from a coders perspective as it beeing a challenge. If he doesn't sell it he is not there for just money but maybe for pure interest which I think is more honorable.

Currently riot's autosystems seemed tuned mostly on how many people report. That's the main time you get the instant feedback. Other than that some more blatant people eventually get the boot but they're slacking.

Even if they can still just make another account, a portion of them will eventually start to realise it's not worth the effort to keep repeating the same process all over again multiple times. Like you said, they still have to buy/make another account, level it all the way up again, rank all the way up again, each time they get banned.

Tbf they really dont need to fix a lot at one time. They just need to fix SOMETHING. They havent fixed any of the bugs, they havent fixed their ban/report system, they havent found a way to stop cheaters, they havent fixed LP gain/loss, they havent fixed matchmaking. They just need to fix ONE of these things and it will be positive. but theyre trying to "improve" everything at once and breaking it all at the same time.

That won't happen, they gotta keep those profits up.

I feel like the issue is that they need to legally comply with law in 30-something countries. + we are talking about multicultural sport. In euw you can feel the difference when you get certain nationalities in your teams. The mindset is different. (Not naming examples to not get pointed as a offensive or whatever). In NA it feels the same way as I imagine people in the club. There are 6 people dancing having fun. 2 trying to score chicks. One snorted 6 lines of coke and now is breakdancing on the bar. And then there is always that one motherfucker, who has drunk more than he weighs so now he naturally needs to find someone to argue with. And exactly like in real life - if he is alone, you can kind of ignore him for a while till shuts up or gets thrown out (reported after game). But if there is 2 if them, then the whole party is ruined for everyone. Riot should man up and purge the system. They are scared of losing revenue if people will quit for system being too harsh. But the thing they don't understand is that the dedicated playerbase will invest more if we get rid of asshats in the community. They are looking for quantity over quality (always have been). I could fix ranked in 1 year with a team of people who can code. I have asked them like 20 times via tickets to see if there is any viable reason why they haven't done it yet. And they legit just say that it's not a priority at the moment. Sure, make more skins for no one to buy as no one enjoys actual experience of playing the game. Personally, I am waiting for game to die out so I could enjoy it (and I'm euw master, so not even bitching cuz I'm bad). It's ridiculous that getting rank has no meaning and thus it means different things to different people. There are 3 easy fixes to be implemented and all the problems would be gone. But I guess the client is not stable enough to pull that through. Let's add aram misions so bronze 4 can lock in Brand and feel good about himself after pressing R 20 times as that gives him Aram Challenger achievement. 😀 rant over. Sorry

Nah, you can give them slack but I won't. They've invested an insane amount of money into making an animated Netflix premiered show, working on an MMO, made a FPS "CS-like" game and made TFT as well as legends of runeterra. If they can take on numerous projects of those sizes while still handling league then it's not a question of "do they have the resources/man power to fix the very obvious and simple problems facing league's playerbase?" The question is "Why haven't they done anything sooner and what is preventing them from doing anything now?" and the answer to that question is: Nothing is preventing them from fixing these blatant and simple problems. If the small ass team that was working on Heroes of the Storm can manage toxicity within their playerbase and ban people who ruin games at a reasonable rate than so can Riot games who has 200x the budget they had. I think the reason Riot hasn't been doing anything about these issues should be pretty obvious by now. It's the reasons I stated above. They've chosen to diversify their revenue streams instead of trying to fix League. Notice how they can spam out champions every 2 months or so and a new skin line to go with it yet not a peep or legitimate action or step taken to addressing these issues of griefers/inters/cheaters. They don't care because they've chosen their path and League's player base is being used to, in part, help fund it through skin purchases.
