Picked up my new 2023 ZX14R a couple of weeks ago from the local dealer. Haven’t been on a road bike in 11 years and instantly felt at home on the bike. It handles like a dream, it’s easy to ride and handles well at low speeds in traffic. I for one haven’t had any issues with controlling all that power and torque and in fact it’s what makes the bike a delight to ride.

It is a very very rare bike that will do everything and this is one. I am part of the Victory riders group here in Calgary. Have done some rides with a group of big cursers. With the massive amount of torque the zx14 can just putter along with cruisers since you don't have to have it in the high rpm range. Love mine and can't think of anything I rather would have. And I love the sheer presence that the zx14 has.

I have owned almost every big Ninja since my 76 900 which I still have. I have the 14's predecessor the ZX12R and the 2017 ZX14R. The 14 is the pinnacle of this trek through the Ninja's and is all the scooter anyone could ask for and does everything with ease. I have been waiting on the supercharged 14 but not holding my breath.

Hey mate, I’ve been riding big bikes for many years(63 now!) and I like to (make progress) wherever I can. Always wanted a zzr 14 and finally got my grubby hands on a 2007 B7F in metallic ocean blue. It had sat in a garage for 4 years! The guy let me have it for £2000 sold as seen so🤞🏻. Well a new fuel pump, fork seals and mega clean and mot and it was good as new. I have to say everything you’ve said about this incredible Machine is true! So easy to ride sensibly but when you want acceleration….. f…k. I’d I’ve to send you a photo of this bike, it looks mint with only 16k miles! Loving the videos, keep the ZZR vids coming buddy. Bob.👍🏼😎🙏🏻🏁

In South-Africa we mainly refer to it as a ZX14...

This beautiful bike as I've said many times, in my humble opinion, is the best ALL round bike ever, it has its faults, it isn't the best for going fast around tight corners, so it would be left behind on the track compared to other bikes.. However, let's look at what this bike is designed to do, fast riding on long trips.. All though I can only manage riding 1 n half hours none stop on constant riding without taking a break, I couldn't do that on a sports bike. When I ride 30-40 miles per hour max to work. (8-10miles per day) I get about 77 miles to a full tank, if I open her up or go for a trip, I get to 100 miles plus to a full tank.. The engine is, as you say, bullet proof, big and looks great, I recommend this bike to anyone, you need little throttle on the streets, on the motorway, yank the throttle back and in seconds you will be doing 60, 100, 130 very quickly, also it depends on the modes you have it on, put the controls on the fastest modes ie high power and take the traction control off and it's like a missile.. You use a lot of fuel very quickly, I used a full tank in half an hour through doing fast bursts to test the bike, but boy, what a rush.. Ride it everyday like Gobs said. Tour on it, have fun and speed on the zzr1400.. What more can you ask of a motorbike?? And looks sexy.. 😀

I didnt know that mot testers knew how to ride powerful motorcycles. They probably have that 1 guy/girl that knows bikes to come in and test it.

It IS too heavy - at least for me it was - had it for a year - then swapped for new gen GSXR1000 and never looked back.

It is nothing like as fun to ride at ridiculous speeds as a proper super-sports bike such as a recent Fireblade or GSXR1000 - the ZZR1400 is nothing like as much temptation, let's get real!! Your bike is much more practical for the real world, except possibly for the track - whereas surely nobody should get a recent ZX10R purely for the road
