Valeeda Davidson That’s my query as well. I was so emotional about many of the postings that I didn't proofread my posting. That was a question and not a statement. Because this man was polite in court it is as if no one listened to the testimony. She was in a horribly abusive relationship. He said it, she said it. He had mood swings, was verbally abusive, and memory lapses to name a few of the things she was experiencing with him. I'm sure it was a nightmare.

@@meganmartin2037 He was verbally abusive. He admitted it and she stated it. Emotionally healthy people do not verbally abuse people or allow people to verbally abuse them. Life has problems, it is what life contains. We all encounter ups and downs, and some people have effective coping mechanisms and some people have ineffective coping mechanisms. We all make choices, we all have control, and we all receive what we accept. The behavior you allow from others is how they are relational with you. If you can come to court and control yourself, appearing as a polite person than you can do the same with me. I will repeat, he was verbally abusive and that is unacceptable. You cannot say you love me and verbally abuse me. I don't care what life issue you're dealing with as we all have life issues. It's the composition of life. I do not verbally abuse people and I'll never physically abuse people. I expect and accept no less than how I treat others to receive the same treatment. My mother died last year after being on hospice. No one was ill-treated because my mother died. Who does that to others because you're experiencing life? So we are going to agree to disagree because our worldviews are not in sync, they are vastly different and that's okay. I find certain behaviors inexcusable and you have rationales why I should overlook them. I will say, this is social media and you don't know my story as we are strangers. Nevertheless, I'm in my sixties and I know when I was younger I might let someone bring their emotional stunted behaviors to my doorsteps and listened. Today, I've seen you from a distance and I've left the premises. You have a great life, as I'm not going to try and change your opinion and you certainly won't change mine. You did assist me in understanding why so many persons were accepting of his behavior. Thank you.

I wish the judge would have offered him a free counselings session or two. The $50 was a nice gesture Judge Mathis, I commend you on your compassion for this dude. He is clearly showing signs of depression and this lady took advantage of the situation instead of supporting him emotionally. She comes off very entitled and selfish. All he wanted was her...awww...poor guy. I really feel he was doing all of this for her out of the kindness of his heart as he thought they were going to eventually get married. She needs to be the bigger person and give this dude his money back.

Why in the world are most of the postings being negative about this woman? He admitted that he has emotional problems, memory lapses, and was verbally abusive to her. So he curses her out, calls her names, and makes her feel like crap unless she has a strong sense of self. She leaves a man who is not working, and why isn't he working? I'm thinking he was fired. She's wrong for leaving him because he speaks politely in court? 🙍🏿‍♀️🙍🏿‍♀️🙍🏿‍♀️

He admitted he had some issues, he never ment to have mood swings, and emotional problems. He cant control how he was born. You must have never had any depression or anxiety and had a great life. @@meganmartin2037 Women who allow men to abuse them react differently from women who do not allow men to abuse them. Women who have allowed men to physically abuse them still express concern for their welfare. One of my patient's husband physically dragged her down the street. She had ascites and it appeared as if she was 8-9 months pregnant. So many people were concerned and converged on the clinic. It was a very busy street, four lanes. The clinic is located across the street from a police station. So in the lobby were police officers, ambulance drivers, and clinical staffing. She told us, "don't you hurt my husband." This after he dragged her for at least 1/2 block. The police told us and I knew, that there was nothing they could do. I was the facility administrator and I made him leave the premises. He reported me to an agency and I informed them he did not have medical power authority for her. He wanted her transferred to another clinic and she wanted to stay. They agreed with me and actually they had compromised HIPPA by discussing her with him. I won. So abusive persons are concerned with the welfare of those who abuse them. Actually, we are required to assess whether women are being abused and question them away from the possible perpetrator if they are indeed being abused. Yesterday, we weren't required to address if we suspected abuse among adults. I am now mandated, whenever I renew my license to report suspected abuse of children. So if I think you're abusing your child I'm to report you, this also wasn't a part of our skillset. I embrace it.

@@meganmartin2037 I never mentioned the patent's name or any identifying personal information. I've been a nurse before HIPPA was introduced and have taught my staff about it as the in-service coordinator, clinical manager, and facility administrator. No, no one invites abuse into their life, but if the right interventions aren't implemented it will askew your thought processes. People display behaviors early on in a relationship, for example when the plaintiff said he wanted to marry her after just meeting her. She probably thought that was romantic, but it was not, marriage requires much interaction before entering it. You don't know a person when you meet them and the initial meeting is the honeymoon phase. That was a red flag and she should have run for the hills. Yet she stayed and I'm sure made excuses until he was actually being verbally abusive. Generally, these men test the waters before the onslaught, they say and do inexcusable things and the women allow it to pass, they don't address the inappropriateness of the initial wrong. Anyway, as I've said, thank you, I've assessed and evaluated what is going on and it's ok. I know red flags when I hear them and I don't try to make them any other color. I saw the admitted abuser for what he is and she is wise to stay away from him.

Eventually, they all failed and dropped out, leaving only a few of us left at the end of the class. ) ???

Some of the nicest people in the world suffer from depression, anxiety and other mental stress issues. There can be triggers that turn them into different people when they are going through it. That's why it's so important to take your time and get to know people before you jump into relationships. People can only wear the mask for so long. I don't mean that as a negative. Many are forced to be functional depressives because they have to support themselves. In this case, because they didn't rush into marriage she was able to see what she would have had to deal with in the long run. Hopefully, he is working on himself so he can be ready when the next good thing comes along. They both seemed like sweet people.
