Raptors hit an all time low losing to the winless in 20 games Rockets! The excuses are starting to run out. Pascal doesn’t look like he can be the leader going into the future of this team. Changes need to be made.

The biggest problem is that the Raptors lack even the most basic concepts of fundamental basketball, and instead are using the 3 ball to cover up all of their flaws. Almost all of their runs are started with spot up random threes by VanVleet, Lowry, and Powell. How many times in the Rockets game did the team: Fail to box out players to get defensive rebounds Fail to space out the floor during pick and rolls Fail or are extremely late on switches due to miscommunications leading to open and uncontested threes Jump on basically every pump fake leading to easy bail-out fouls for the other team On so many occasions you see players like Yuta, Boucher, Baynes, Johnson, Watson drive down the lane then dish it out to either VanVleet, Lowry, or Powell as if they lack the knowledge to execute a play. The absence of players that were affected by COVID protocols only highlight the lack of depth the bench has and i'd say most, if not all of their games are won with their starting lineup and Boucher. And with their starters playing upwards of 30, even 40 minutes a game, eventually they are gonna crack. It's easy to cover up how bad a coach you are when you are surrounded by players with a lot of experience ( Ibaka, Gasol, Lowry ), and insane natural talent ( Kawhi ).

It seems the Raptors are focused on everything but the game.

I feel like if we can get a center who can do the work that this team will somehow squeak in the 8th seed. You look at the East right now.. wishful thinking or am I just optimistic
