I have those clear caches. I get mine from the Dollar Tree. Yes i am watering my plants every day. Because of this heat. My plants are struggling. But we as gardeners just have to do our best. Thanks for sharing this video. Happy gardening 😊

Hi Renee! It's so good to hear from you. I never seem to find any good gardening stuff at my Dollar Tree, only a handful of seed packets now and then. I hope your garden gets from relief from the heat soon 🙏🏼

Great tip about the paint pen, Angela. I only tried using them for plant tags last year, and they work super well. 😊 Overseeding for insurance is definitely smart! You know, as far as all melons go, I wait to seed until mid-June. They just grow so much faster and better for me in the heat. Same with peppers. 😎 I think you starting your watermelon, squash, and cucumbers in your greenhouse will work really well. They'll love the added heat, and they're protected from all the critters until they're bigger! I grow cherry tomatoes only these days because they just do SO much better in the high heat here than big tomatoes. Plus, they ripen so quickly and are so prolific! 😁 Good thinking saving those pepper seeds! We're 105° F today - typical for June. The really high heat (110-118° usually) kicks in come July and lasts through the end of August. Never any rain. So yes, watering is extremely important! 😎 But well worth it! Thanks for sharing your garden progress! 😊

Hi, Kim! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I may end up reseeding the melons 😊. I'm excited the watermelons are sprouting and one of my pumpkins has sprouted today, too!!

It helps to prune off your tomato leaves and stems from a few inches above the ground and downward. My onions also look sort of shrimpy.

Thank you! I've done that in the past with tomatoes, and it just escaped me this year. Appreciate the reminder and I hope both our onion crops turn out!
