Wow. Imagine being DMac and hearing news that NZR want to get Richie back. Hopefully Richie says no, NZR needs to have faith in the future and double down on Dmac and Perofeta.

Honestly I think it'd be a waste of money and effort to bring Richie back... in Super Rugby Richie used a lot of short attacking kicks or runs from inside the 22 instead of clearing which worked for the Crusaders but when he came up against more defensively sound international teams it just resulted in losing possession in unfavourable positions not to mention his goal kicking which again was great for the crusaders but somehow 50/50 in the black jersey. I completely agree that NZR need to start focusing on Dmac and Perofeta because Richie was given basically free reign in that black jersey and it just never materialized and I'm done listening to Crusader fans claiming he's the best thing since sliced bread.

You would prefer DMac in a tight game against South Africa? Seriously now. We have seen Richie step up against the greatest foe but I wouldn’t trust any current NZ 1st five in the big games, they’re so far from world class it is clear why Razor wants some overseas players. Interesting how the best players and coaches, analysts say we need him back but the common tv watcher thinks we’re fine

@@andreweggeltonpresentingwe didn't even do that for Carter and Mounga is no Carter he had the chance to win the game in the final with a missed kick he would normally get that's the difference between Mounga and greatness great players perform when it really matters Mounga had ample time 2 world cups which we didn't win and only a handful of good games for the AB.s

@@Trajan2401 remind me again how many world cups it took Carter to win a final? I would say Richie kept us in that final and he definitely was a key player getting us past the quarter final. The guy is the greatest super rugby player ever, without doubt the GOAT and I believe he could have taken that to elite level if he had of had a world class coach in the All Blacks. Foster had a rare ability to turn great players into average. As an example, look at what Penny has done to the great Crusader players.

How Havili is even in these conversations baffles me to no end..he's been HORRENDOUS for years!! And this year he's gone up a level, in being a shite player. Nothing against him as person, I'm sure he's probably a stand up guy, but there's too many better options

Its time NZ Rugby woke up to the commercial reality that top players can earn much more than NZ Rugby want to pay. Its simple economics; the NZ dollar is worth FA in the world market. Why wouldnt some one with an unknown fitness capacity be willing to accept two or three times less just to play in the ABs? It might be honourable but it makes no commercial sense.

you have to make your name before you have any worth overseas. A 2-3 season all black will make much much more overseas. You are actually cutting yourself short NOT playing for the all blacks.

Tbh i think we will lose more games than people expect which is okay. Im not expecting razor to come out firing he will probably just be more focused on getting players up to international than winning games

Billy Procter is a MUST. Hes proven he can put on the A.B jersey 👍 Great player and ill pick him over David Havili. J.K is terrible at Coaching Italy and the Blues, better as a player, so thanks but NO THANKS J.K for your thoughts 😂

Why want players back that left for money. I have tremendous respect for Macaw who never left his country to play for any other country. As a die hard All Black fan give players that play domestic the chance to be selected. Remember that guys get older.

Why the hell would we keep picking Ioane at centre? He has been completely ineffective and does not play centre well. Ioane should be back on wing full stop. It’s worrying that all these centres they want to pick are wingers fullbacks who can’t break the line

It was just about getting the best players on the field. Telea, Jordan, and Reece are all brilliant wingers so Rieko doesn't need to play wing. At centre, ALB was very average coming off his injuries last year, and Proctor was inexperienced. You'd rather drop ALB than Telea or Jordan, surely?

9 not sold (Roigard wouldve been nice) 10 DMac 11 Telea 12 Barrett 13 Ioane 14 Reece 15 Barrett (Jordan would be nice 😪) 21 Fakatava 22 Havilli 23 Proctor (be keen to see him and Reiko on the field together) Finishers B Barrett in to 10, Ioane to wing, Havilli and Proctor in to the centres, one of the wingers stay on and Jordy finishes at FB. Havilli aint no 10. Hes 13 at best. The way to win is to have the best player in every position first. Then look at cover. And you need to select the form players. Not the status quo. That makes the other work harder to keep their spot. Lets not make the mistakes of the past by playing players out of position. Sorry JK your not the best selector. Just look at JKs Blues. They were rubbish under JK.
