I am file #1, and she is my estranged wife who ghosted me twice. The last time she ghosted me was in November 2022, and we live in two different countries. She is an Aquarius, and I am a Sagittarius. The question is, what makes her think I’d be ready when she’s ready to finally grow up and commit? I won’t let her in easily; she doubted me and betrayed me, and I have serious reservations about accepting her offer of reconciliation. I never divorced her because I have no intention of getting to know another woman again. Sometimes, I wish I were attracted to men, but unfortunately, I am not. I love the scent, shape, and emotions of women, yet I dislike everything about my own gender, especially physiologically. She was the last woman I trusted; in fact, she was the one who asked me to marry her, which might be why she thinks she can walk away easily. Perhaps I’m here to teach her a lesson or act as a catalyst so the next person in her life won’t get hurt like me. Maybe I’m teaching her that commitment to marriage requires decisions and keeping promises. Marriage has become a joke; people treat it like a casual date nowadays. I grew up in a culture where people would mend a China teapot instead of replacing it, and surprisingly, the mended teapot would gain more value. Marriage is like that, but not to her. She needed to upgrade, and perhaps she did, learning a valuable lesson that not everything or everyone is replaceable. Now, I need to know why she left and why she thinks I should take her back just because she believes she’s ready. I will make her work hard to win me back, not out of revenge but out of love. She needs to understand the true meaning of marriage and what “for better or worse” truly implies in a vow.

You're the age of my dad, so take my advice with a grain of salt. But I really don't think that's a good idea. I've learned that you cannot sit and wait for people to change. I think you need to take them at face value and not potential. Many stay in abusive relationships because they believe in the potential of the other person, instead of valuing them for who they are now. I believe it's important to make a logical decision about a person based on how they are, not on how they could change. Understanding that marriage is not about upgrades is a moral value. It's something that clicks in people or doesn't. You can't convince her. It has to come up on her own. If she goes back to you, it's because she'll want her spot filled back up before she runs away again if she finds a "better" option. It is evident that she has some personal problems. You can't mend a relationship if the other person isn't meeting you halfway.
