Yes it's sign language during the I love you part, reminds me of over the sky. I think what I enjoyed during this comeback is they got to perform on music shows while smiling/happy. Normally we only see that during concerts since most of their title tracks have a super strong concept. If you have some time, you should definitely check out their encore stages since seeing them happy is such a mood boost. Also I could be wrong since I don't follow other groups as closesly as DC, but this was the first time I've seen a group thank/acknowledged their fans for putting in the time to vote/stream their music to get them the win. I mean artists thank their fans all the time but I hardly see them actually knowing what their fandom has to do to get a group a win. It just lets me know that they cherish everything and it makes you only want the best for them

More about the choreo: Hwang Sooyeon is Dreamcatcher's performance director and lead choreographer. Last October-November the YT channel Chooda broadcast an interview with her about how she developed the choreo for Vision and Scream. She plugged Bon Voyage, but it hadn't come out yet. The interviews are so fascinating. Since she trained as a singer (she almost was a member of Minx), she has an unusual sensibility to the relationship between the lyrics and dance. She conceptualizes how, if she were singing the top line, she would want to express that in movement. With Dreamcatcher, she understands the strengths and personality of the different members and their individual dance moves express that. But in Dami's case, she feels Dami has the best grasp of how to perform her raps, so for Dami's raps, Sooyeon only choreographs the parts for the other members and dancers. She said so much more - I thought it was very nuanced but also accessible. And it's not a one woman show. She gave a lot of credit to the co-choreographers, lyricists and included the collaborative role of Dreamcatcher's members, who flesh out the dance and even vote on different proposals for elements of the choreo. Choreography by Huang Sooyeon, their Performance Director. As much as I like Sua's choreography, the complexity of this dance is way above her pay grade. Handong is and always has been an excellent dancer. For the first few years after their debut, Handong was always positioned at the back and the sides because she had few lines on account of her poor Korean. She was often overlooked until Deja Vu. She and Yoohyeon have very similar dance styles, elegant and graceful. They match really well when they dance together.

Agree with Dami being a extremely solid dancer, i mean she is lead dancer after all.

Welcome back! 😊 "Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable! My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace. The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal. Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. And as a bass player, I can say the slap bass is crazy! I probably won't have to tell anyone that the visuals here are out of this world. I'm going to say it anyways: The members have never looked more beautiful, and the whole team all deserve a raise!

just finished binging your whole dreamcatcher playlist after watching this video a few days ago. thank you for loving them so much and I'm happy you saw them live. DreamCatcher is my Ult Group (I am OT7, no bias) but Wendy of Red Velvet is my Ult Bias. There has been a petition going around for years, wanting to have some collab between DC and RV (I believe the most popular term is VelvetCatcher). I personally would put SuA and Seulgi on the same level as all-rounders in sheer ability that both have shown they are capable of, except that to my knowledge, Seulgi doesn't rap. (I would never presume that she CAN'T rap, that's for the jerks and trolls to spout off about. I have never heard Seulgi rap but that does not mean that she can't if she tried. She could be AMAZING but we just don't know).

The album is one of their best ( if not the best ) everything is so coherent. Every song is at least a 9.5/10 but Propose is... 11/10 at the bare minimum ( mostly in english also ). You will love it bro.

You are right. With other groups, sometimes it is hard to predict the type of song they will comeback with or whether it will hit, especially with experimental sounds. But with Dreamcatcher, it is all a matter of them one-upping themselves. Not many, if any, groups to compare with since their genre is relatively niche in the idol industry so just themselves as the benchmark.

If Siyeon had been born in the USA she would now be a superstar in the R&B genre. No question. Korea doesn't know what it has in her.

I been waiting for Pastor Eric to come back and give a sermon about Dreamcatcher! 😂 Bon Voyage is now my favorite title track, displacing What after 2 1/2 years, and the stages were an absolute joy to watch. Be sure to watch the two encore stages because the ladies absolutely glowed when they found out they won and it was awesome to see them win in front of their peers AND Insomnia. Siyeon is a lot like Solar in that people expect her to sing a certain way and so judge her entire singing ability based on one aspect or style. Yes, Siyeon can sing powerfully but she also has beautiful mid and low tones. Over the years Siyeon's parts have actually become more powerful because SuA has been stepping into an unofficial lead vocalist role and Siyeon can be Dreamcatcher's exclamation point for most songs.
