Will this 100 year old tractor run again? 1922 Rumely 16-30H Oil Pull

In today's episode of Lambvinskis Garage, we drag out a super cool, and rare Rumely tractor! This old bird was built in 1922, do you realize that was 100 years ago? We're gonna see if we can make it run again, the last time it ran was probably the early 2000s or the late 90s, we can't really remember unfortunately. We got our best...and only Rumely technicians on the case though! These guys could make anything run as long as they're using the right fuel! Anyways, this was a fantastic experience, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

My great grandfather had an E 30-60 and if I remember, It was built around 1912 or 1916. as a kid, I remember he would give us rides on it. I drove it a few times and yes, the exhaust fumes were terrible. When he died in 1992, My dad inherited it and only started it once. but he kept it. My dad died in 2021 and us kids donated it. I sure miss that thing. I do remember it giving off a backfire that woke the whole area up

My grandfather, Lee M. Olson, was a certified Rumely engineer, working in North Dakota in the teens and 20s. He kept his license current until he died in 1974 at the age of 86.

It’s possible! He met my grandmother, Josephine, where she worked at the McHenry County poor farm as a cook. He was working for the county grading roads and he’d stop to have some of her tasty doughnuts and do a little flirting. This was in 1928. Earlier, his Rumely career was interrupted by service as a doughboy in WW1.

Great to see them run up again. That smell can't be manufactured or replaced once burnt off. Small shame she wouldn't fire up on the handle though. Regards 🇬🇧

We did eventually get it to start with handle, and the excitement was unreal! Haha
