@@UntoldOrigins. I did. I also appreciate that you mentioned the fact that these models are trained on copyrighted material. This crucial point gets overlooked sometimes. If you ask me, AI can only be as innovative as a real artist can be. I don't think the current models can outdo real humans. If they could, why would they need to steal from real artists?

You basically described what happened with Milli Vanilli, if I remember correctly he never produced the song, and was lip syncing it. I don't think AI is gonna effect the AI artist the same way. Deadmau5 isn't singing, he's hiding behind his helmet playing pre recorded music. For example, you write your lyrics, you generate something that resonates with your soul. Later on, Artists will be given more tools to control of their tracks, but keep in mind these full songs generated by AI can be spliced down, and re assembled and enhanced in a DAW by the human. I don't think it's as grim as a lot of musicians think, they still have abilities that will set them apart from those who just generate the music.

I agree with that outlook. I think ai can be used as a very powerful tool. I use imagery from ai and ai animation to create these videos, would be near impossible for me to create them without it. Music will likely be the same. Hope you enjoyed the content, thanks for watching!

AI can also produce better. Because now a guitarist can produce an AI band to back him. So you can have a super talented guitarist with a great backing band. Or you can have a great singer with a great backing band. Or you can have a great bassist with a great backing band. I am a writer. I control you all

@@UntoldOrigins. yeah it's not nearly enough to sustain ourselves without sync licensing tho. I think there is a bright side to this in that I think sync licensing will be moreso music that is fun to make instead of this super boring stuff ai is good at making that producers use as a day job. It will still close the market a bit tho

Really good music isn't formulaic and no AI will replicate a true genius. Let me explain... Writing melodies that are smart is fucking hard, and only the best can do it...if anyone could do it...we'd have a million McCartneys out there. But we dont...some get lucky and become one hit wonders, but most stay in the safe lane, doing what was done before...this would be most current pop people listen to today. The best musicians all say its a gift you're born with, something you feel, cannot be taught. So until AI can feel, it will resort to plagiarism.

Very well written comment and I believe you are on the correct track. I do however believe that Ai will be able to replicate music needed for many applicable uses that will replace some jobs, but for huge massive stars Ai won't come close. Until Ai can fully innovate, like you said "feel", I believe major musicians and breakout artists will be safe. Ai is great at replicating and is just going to continue to get much better. @@tooftoof3000 For sure, it's an exciting future in terms of creativity. A lot of basic renditions will be fully ai created, but Ai unlocks a lot of potential as well. I wouldnt be able to make videos like this without ai imagery to tell stories and stuff. Stay tuned, we have 20 super interesting videos in the works right now!

"Really good music isn't formulaic." The world at large has decided Taylor Swift is "really good music" and she's formulaic as hell. Commercial pop music--as in, the place where all the money and attention is--will be flooded by AI.

I completely hand wrote the script. There is no ai involvement in the script, besides small parts of the end story.
