Off ice training is essential to becoming the best you can be. When it comes to stickhandling, the most accessible surface is pavement and the guys at WrapAround have come up with their latest version of their blade protector. Something I strongly believe their is a big need for!

Snapped one in a month in the middle of the blade from natural use and snapped another in 3 days at the toe practicing the Datsyuk. Probably best to just stick with the 2 piece outside.

I have an aluminum shaft that has an abs on it that’s about 20 years old. The blade is still good aside from 1 inch on the heel where the white plastic material seems to have broke off and now it shows the wood underneath. You seem to have played some street and may have a good opinion. I’m teaching my son right now. It’s a really rare shaft that I want to get going again. I played until I was 16. Never learned this stuff. Do you think if I got one of these I would be able to use my Gretzky shaft? It’s only an inch at most chipped away and maybe 1/8” deep into the shaft. Right at the end of the heel. Been looking for ways to repair it and can’t find anything. When it comes to replacing, I’m getting totally lost lol All those curve patterns don’t seem to match. It says junior mid x 5. I’m still comfortable with it at my age though. If you can give me a tip on ANY of this, I’ll owe you so much. Send you some pucks or something. I tried this and it just messes my shot up, the difference between ice and driveway is huge and just screws up my shot. The pavement in my driveway is a little rougher than the pavement in the video

The whole point is being able to switch between using your stick on the ice, then off the ice. Super glue would just make it into an ONLY off ice stick...
