So what is witnesses are saying is, essentially, “I am not an entrepreneur. I’m not an engineer. I’m not a chemical engineer. I know nothing about the oil and gas industry. I also don’t know anything about what’s actually involved in reducing carbon emissions. Carbon emissions!!?? Carbon is not the problem, its the solution: Ask yourself what is the staple diet of plants!! - they take in CO2 and strip out the O and absorb the C because that get converted to cellular fiber. Think: the greatest carbon capture device is a tree! - carbon increases plant growth and converts the carbon to wood!!! trees/plants use photosynthesis to do capture the carbon and that process is also endothermic, which has a cooling effect.

EV’s are fine if you only drive 50 miles a day. And if everybody drove one there would be a shortage of electricity to charge them. One of the most used energy sources for electricity is NATURAL GAS. SO YOUR EV is no different than a gas or diesel fueled car. It just has a very long exhast pipe.

Most parts of the country the electrical grid is taxes to its limit in summer with air conditioning but it can handle all the EVa sucking energy recharging?!? The entire grid needs to be upgraded before the power grid can handle EVs en masse. That will take decades. There are more power plants being decommissioned than being built!!!

@@teekay_1 Most major oil and gas companies do have divisions looking at alternative energy sources but, they are not profitable. Bp and Shell went in hard a few years ago on alternative energy but, now have backed off because they were losing their ass financially. Remember those ExxonMobil algae biofuel commercials 4 or 5 years ago? Nowhere in sight now. It will take decades for energy transition.

The planet is cooling not warming, The climate lot are reduced to reporting 'record' temperature in places with no long term historical temperature data or with broken equipment. The latest India claim was reported as 3 degrees above the actual temperature. No long term rural US temperature station has reported a significant temperature rise, the only thermometers that do show a rise are in the middle of urban heat islands. Even Central park New York only barely matches the climate hype graph. They are not taking an average they are cherry picking the worst UHI and claiming it as 'average'.
