Ahhh someone else has unlocked the secret of the Willys insane channel cat action, nice! Once you find the right spots and know the right bait to use, it's a no brainer. All these people thinking they have to drive all the way to the snake or John day to get any action close to portland are crazy!

Really cool! My buddy and I have caught a few channel cats on accident while bass fishing in the upper river and I have caught a few while sturgeon fishing in the lower river but they are usually just a rare side catch for me. Pretty wild that you all got into multiple of them!

I used to fish at that spot, I got some good size smallmouths bass, I didn’t know there are some catfishs too. Thanks for your sharing, I will back to that spot for those catfishs.
