As far as the spark plugs go, if that is the original engine, EJ205, it takes the shorter spark plugs. The longer spark plugs are found on the EJ255/257 engines. The spark plug thread depth are different on EJ205 heads vs the EJ255/257.

You need a table to work on my dude, one of those white foldable ones from home depot would do wonders for you and your back.

If you crack the engine mount bolts and remove them you can jack up the side your working on and have more room, you just need to watch the hoses on the top of engine for stretching and that but makes it easy as

Yup I knew about that trick going into this but was able to get it done without unbolting the engine mounts

You didn't put tgv gasgrt maker on the dips of the cover.

Was all the gaskets installed “dry”? Just sealant around the bottom of half moons only?

Put sealant all around valve cover , then seat the gasket into it ..and yea around half moon too , on the round side

remove valve cover no need drain engine oil? i though remove valve cover the oil will leak out..?

Not a lot comes out... Most is back in the oilpan, what comes out is what is sitting in the corners that didn't make it back down.
