Willem, I love watching the mix of activities on these road trips. I enjoyed the one traveling with your girlfriend in California, too. You and the You Tube film photography friends you've introduced me too are giving me inspiration to travel our country through the wilderness, small towns, and cities making photographs as a retirement pursuit and new hobby. So awesome to read this as I grew up in Clarksburg and spent a lot of time all around Canaan Valley camping, hiking, and mountain biking. I live in Michigan now but go back for family events and photography workshops.

I came across this channel randomly and have no personal experience shooting film apart from using a cheap Holga 9 years ago, but I've always been very intrigued by film!! I love seeing how the pictures turn out in these videos. They're indescribably beautiful. There's something special about film. The one with the tree and the flowers shocked me.

I love a good camping roadtrip photo trek! I just returned from doing the same thing in Michigan. Trying to get up for sunrise but also stay out til sunset is hella tough, especilly when I have other things to do during the day that tire me out. NGL, i was thankful it was overcast half of the mornings so that i could go back to sleep.
