Thank you for uploading these. So hard to find Bill Alexander videos. I could watch him paint all day. :-)

Bob Ross was calm and gentle. Bill Alexander was giddy and excited. Both great, each in their own ways.

It's almost frightening how good he is. Bob, I feel I could get to a Bob level on a painting. Bill, I feel I'll never get even close.

There's more close-ups and more explanation of how he does things. More detailed.

I loved to watch this show when I was a kid. And then he was gone and Bob Ross came on. I liked Bob, but I missed this show.

You can tell, he’s very passionate about his art. I started watching him only now and didn’t know he was actually Bob Ross’s mentor. I like his style.

"On the street, view that wonderful little cabin. But if you look behind that cabin, those guys go down there, get drunk, and buy a deer from the Indians, and bring it home! And then they have the GLORY! That's what we will put on that canvas!"

Bob did use some of William’s individual patter like "happy little trees" and borrowed some of his unique peculiarities.

Bob Ross: "Let's make a happy little chimney for the cabin, so the hunters can warm their feets in their fuzzy socks by a fire". Bill Alexander: *sweating, stabbing the canvas, screaming* "WE MAKE A CHIMNEY NOW SO THE HUNTERS CAN CLOSE THE AUSFART AND SUFFOCATE WITH THE CARBON MONOXIDE TO END THEIR LIFES"

@NWO Official 666 ??? Now I know I was right in our conversations. Do you guys have any idea how ignorant, bigoted and hateful you sound?
@ryanfreer772 жыл бұрын
@ian m Nah...Bill Alexander was certainly more exuberant, but he was also the original “Happy Painter.”
@johnnycats51575 жыл бұрын
fun guy but jeeez he was a terrible painter

@NWO Official 666 'Was' is the operative word even YOU used, and if he still were he'd be back in East Germany, not painting American scenes...idiot. Besides, he was a refugee. Instead of being led by blind sheep, why don't you do some research and sound half way intelligent? Todd, why do you let comments like this on?
@atomzero13 жыл бұрын
@NWO 666 He wasn't a Nazi, he was drafted into the Wehrmacht, which was the separate German army. He was neither a Nazi, nor did he fight for Germany voluntarily.

Bob also is very karismatic because he painted for more shows in the telly. Fun Fact, did you know about how many seasons bob Ross has in the telly? over 20.
