Regarding allergies, actually it is important to ask if you have allergies because if you do, contamination can be an issue. Even if you order something with certainty it's fine, knowing if you have allergies is important for using separate preparation areas to avoid contamination. For someone with coeliacs disease, for example, they have to use separate chopping boards. Please be patient with staff as for the people who need it, it is so important. ❤

The main thing about blowing your nose into the tissue, it has to have you who disposes of your own tissue. So even if he blew his nose at the table (gross) on a paper napkin, he must not leave it for the wait staff. So with regards the cloth napkin, he can't throw that in the bin of course, it must be washed. That is why you absolutely do not blow your nose on it aswell as it just being really inappropriate to do so.

Trust me, asking about allergies is as annoying for us staff as it is for you the customer. Sadly we'd be breaking the law if we didn't ask, please don't be the asshole that makes a joke about it, we are bound to take it seriously.
