This is amazing, this was made during John Paul 2, way before Francis and is famous (or infamous) Fratelli tutti and Laudato si'. This professor was right on the money, Oh God have mercy on us and on your Church.

The Liturgical Movement, which started in the 19th century with good intentions, and was then hijacked by modernists, was working quietly in the background through the turn of the century. By the 1950s it was already influential in church design and in 1957 the New Churches Research Group was founded to promote "a modern idiom" in architecture. V2 accepted many of the modernist ideas of the LM and developed them further. New ideas on liturgy may not have been the most prominent 'toy' of modernists, but it was definitely one of them.

I enjoin you to read the books of Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, a Messianic Jew. He understands the Old Testament from ancient Hebrew/Aramaic, through Greek and Latin. He understands the idiomatic language in each. And he has a greater insight into the New Testament written by Jesus’s Jewish disciples ( Luke a convert) He understands what Jesus meant when HE said I have not come to change one iota or title……. of GOD’S Commandments. He told the woman at the well that Salvation is of the Jews. Rabbi Cahn has noticed that history can indeed repeat itself. He has noted the similarities of the destruction of ungodly Israel to that of ungodly America. Dates and quotes totally applicable to what is occurring in this immoral Country that has turned its back to GOD( save for the Remnant) I have read his books in amazement and Holy fear. He is totally aware of the falling of churches and governments. He is a watchman, a good one , as Jesus spoke of in parable. I wish I could get all to read his books. There is no bias as to a religion, his bias is Jesus, GOD. He is also on KZfaq, but with insipid commercials. He is Pro-GOD in ALL THINGS. More so than the hierarchy, including this pope, who does not lead as St Peter did🙏🩸🙏 MAY THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST COVER US, SAVE US🙏🩸🙏

Maude Petri says, in 1925, that the modernists claimed to allow the Pope to examine and pass judgement on their moral positions, but not on their scholarship. How is that any different from what philosophers and theologians of ALL stripes - along with knowledgeable rigid catholics and cafeteria Catholics with them insist upon today?!?

30:39: "They believe that the future is theirs. If they just hang on long enough, the liberal Pope they dream of will come....Rome will start sounding like the chancery of Milwaukee..." Laughter from the audience (we're not laughing now). Hearing these words today - 16MAR23 - with Francis as pope, and the German church now broken away from Rome, it appears they were right.
