You, sir, are a legend and you have my full respect for what you do on an almost daily basis, in all weather. The attention to detail where it comes to safety is excellent. I've added another pair of stands to my kit for my clutch job, which I'm hoping to tackle tomorrow. The DMF and full SACHS kit arrived from Germany, at last. Watching your videos really helps get a good picture of what I'm in for, so am actually looking forward to doing it. I've even taken plenty of time to learn how the CSC works and now have plenty of sealant, so I don't end up with fluid pouring out of the bell housing after I stitch it all together! That would kill me! Thanks again for sharing your awesome videos.
@WMCS3 жыл бұрын
Lee thanks for the feedback. I’m sure it’ll all go really well. What vehicle is it you are tackling tomorrow. With the csc remember not to dry bleed it as it will fail prematurely. Prime it instead.

@@WMCS It's a 2013 Insignia 2.0 SRI (160bhp). I watched and studied the video you did on the 2014 Insignia, which looks identical to the one that I have. The procedure that I have planned is once the gearbox is back up and secure, re-attach the pipe to the elbow, fill the reservoir, and then pump the pedal (gently and partially at first, then full range as it begins to stiffen) enough so that it springs back with normal force, apply constant pressure on the pedal so it is held down whilst releasing the bleed nipple. Re-tighten and press the pedal a few times to make sure it retains its correct movement. Hopefully I have that right! The fun part will be taking out the DMF - it sounds terrible! Thanks so much for responding.

I've subb'd - love the quality of work, attention to detail, discipline and methodicalness (if that's even a word) - all people offering a service/working in a trade should be this good and have pride in their work as you do. I can't imagine you ever having a screw/bolt left over after you've finished and wondering "where did that go?" ;) (meant that as a compliment!). You can tell the level of experience and knowledge you have on little points like leaving the socket on the tyre after you've finished so you can torque them all up quicker - lovely to watch - thank you
