Not only is the drumming insane but the way his brain can multitask so seamlessly is just phenomenal
@fritztom9918Ай бұрын
Multitasking doesn´t work, you can just get something in your brain so that it works automaticly (like walking), so if someone is walking AND talking, he isn´t multitasking. And if you thin that he is multitasking, he isn´t, he has just trained very much (so that it works automaticly, I think you get my point). Nehertheless his drumming skills are mindblowing. Greetings from Germany, I hope I typed everything right😅
@Set_Your_HandlleАй бұрын
@@fritztom9918 What about the people who have been able to write multiple things at a time? E.g. GK Chesterton? He was known to write essays while dictating.
@fritztom9918Ай бұрын
@@Set_Your_Handlle Hugh, alright: Maybe I am wrong. But isn´t it possible, that GK Chesterton (I don´t know him) has learned to write (or to dictate) so much, that he is so good at it that he can do it automaticly (like walking or breathing)?
@Set_Your_HandlleАй бұрын

Because drummers don’t work like that. They perceive the whole beat as one thing, which can be separated into disparate parts if you really want to, but it is ultimately part of a broader rhythmic framework

As a drummer myself, I can honestly say that this is exceptional. The stamina and coordination required for this is off the charts, as well as the ability to control your breathing. I'm an old man now, but even when I was his age there is no way I could have done what he did. I sure hope his ambitions include playing music, I'd hate to see all that talent wasted.

How in the hell are people just walking past him going about their own business when he is doing something so incredibly eye-catching? Granted some people stopped to watch but you would think the entire city would stop what they were doing to pay attention to the absolute Jedi with the buckets and sticks. He did some of that so fast most people probably didn't even catch it. I lost count how many times he flipped the sticks in the air while he was playing. I had to slow the video speed down to 0.25x just to see what I may have missed. This kid is going places. And I'm not about to stand in his way! What a tremendous talent!
