Willie Nelson plays a vital role in post-rock & roll country music. Texas-born Nelson is an icon of the ’70s outlaw-country movement, favoring a stripped-down style that could both evoke desert-highway vistas (“On the Road Again”) and initiate the most intimate of conversations (“Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain”). He has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the genre, whether that was Merle Haggard or Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash & Kris Kristofferson in The Highwaymen and written some of Country Music’s most popular songs including ‘Crazy’ made famous by Patsy Cline. In the 21st century, Nelson’s outlaw ethos has continued to manifest itself in all sorts of surprising ways: He’s become America’s most visible pro-marijuana activist and Snoop Dogg’s unlikeliest duet partner.
The first single from Willie’s up coming new studio album is a new song written by Rodney Crowell and Chris Stapleton. The album is called A Beautiful Time and will come on April 29 just in time for Willie’s 89th birthday. Wow! Willie that's a lovely song you sang, it's a pity more people didn't love another and be true and honest with their feelings, my husband loved his first love all his life and being married to him for 46 years he married me on the rebound. I always felt second best and he showed me that look of sorry the day before he died.. I will never forget that look of sorry that he realised that l had been around for him all those years and he loved her not me. The look will never leave my mind. I was a sucker that married too young at 17 and he was 33 too much of an age difference too. Loving someone that didn't love me was a disappoint to me, but now l am too old no one thinks l should find love now with anyone now l am 73. I missed the boat, l guess. LolXX

Corol, I relate to your story. Hay it is never to late!!! It's what you have in your heart ❤ if you feel like thatin your mind and soul, you never will find another. When you find him you will know he is the one! Wishing you all the blessings and luck in finding that real love...I know where you are coming from. I didn't want to finalize because I thought all mem were alike, but love found me and my 5 babies. And he was the best husband and 👩🍼 to my babies 👶 he is in heaven now , and I will love him till the day I die ❤ Just like Willie's song says. I will keep you in my prayers 🙏

As my passion was painting throughout most of my life l am a bit down at times. Its so nice to get someone to get back to you when most want to shun you. Thank you again, l will try to get happy and keep living for the family members around me and all my pets that depend on me. Glad your 80 year old friend found his happiness, l hope they live until they are both 100 lol. Bye X

😢😢😢Willie Nelson l just love you. I sing most of your songs n cry. This one l just heard l was crying. You have a very unique voice l cry myself to sleep listening to all your songs n with Ray Charles. But you’re still my no.1. Godbless you Wilkie lm watching listening from Australia. I’m a single mom raised 5 children on my own . Struggling financially n mentally. But l never gave up on my kids l started taking up singing n going to karaoke to win money to feed my children n bills. I was in my30’s since my divorce. I started listening to you n Ray Charles. I started to mimic your voice n learn to sing songs so melo just like you feeling the song n that’s what made me sing songs n touch others with the song. You’re my hero. I’m 57 n yet never stop listening to you. I get goosebumps n l cnt hold back tears. You make me think about my love ones lve missed in heaven . This song made me miss my mom n dad n sister in heaven. I lost them very close it was heartbreaking. There’s few soul singers out there lve listened too but your voice n songs n lyrics touched my heart always. I have no favourites l love them all. I suffer depression anxiety . Your voice n songs r so healing for me even thou they’re sad to listen too. It’s the opposite for me. I cry so many tears but then l feel lot better. I’ve always wanted to meet you in person. I thank God you have a son that sings n sound so much like you bless his soul. I love you n l just want to share a little about me n my hero. You willie. Thank you for this song and video from my man to me. Thank You to Willie Nelson for this beautiful love song and the video is very special to me too !!!! I grew up watching Willie Nelson on the Grande Ole Opry Show and I just loved to hear him sing and play his guitar a well. His style is different from others and that's what makes him above the rest of guitarists. I've seen all of his movies and I have a few of them too ! He certainly knows how to ride a horse and he looks like he feels right at home with it as well. Willie Nelson is just a COUNTRY COWBOY and He is one of the best at what he does . I have never met him or sean any of his shows . But , I would like to meet him someday . He's a very interesting man. God bless you Willie Nelson and your family as well. My Husband Charlie passed away in March 2021, Married 50 yrs...He and I love Willie so much and pray that he is doing well....Your songs always always brought us both happiness and peace...We live in Dallas, Tx and went to see you here. Losing Johnny, Meryl and Waylon was hard, but I can’t wrap my head around losing Willie. He’s been such a big part of my life. All the great concerts that I’ve been to. Loretta Lynn will live on in my life forever. Loretta Lynn was a special person,and a beautiful woman with one of the most beautiful voices. I really miss her so I can imagine how her family feels. But know that you all mother is truly missed and blessed. Family keep her legacy going on and just know people are not going to ever forget her. There will never be another Loretta Lynn nor a duplicate. She had such a beautiful voice and smile. I can listen to her music 🎵🎶🎸🎤🌹👃💕❤️💞💯 all day long. Gone to soon but I know she's where she wants to be with Doo,jack,and Betty Sue. And she resting in the arms of her mom, and Dad. We will see her again if we live the way God wants us to then we can rest high on the mountain 🌄🌄 just like her and others who truly love by God's commandments. Loretta Lynn was an angel 💞😇🎸🙏❤️🌹👃 living on this earth. Always smiling and laughing because she was one of a kind, and she loved people. Their daddy taught his kids what real love is and to give love 😍❤️💞 back. She loved her daddy so much and valued their time together. Her mom and daddy showed their family what true love was,and to respect people for who they were.

I was introduced to Willie's music as a small child in the 70's, my sister really liked him. I am now in my mid 40's and find Willie's music talks to me in a way that not many other artists do (among them BB King, Chris Stapleton, George Strait and Colin James) Your music and your voice is timeless and I am so glad I got to grow up in a world with you in it. My continued thanks for the music sir!

Willie, when I was a little girl my papa would put your tape in his Jeep and play it everyday. I grew up listening to you, I cherish all the memories I hold with your music. Every time I get in the car I always listen to on the road again! My papa gave me the nick name “Suzy” and I realized about 10 years ago I saw you have a daughter named Susie. But you were gentlemanly and fun to talk to. (I was the chubby blonde with the purple-striped shirt.) But this is a beautiful song, and I love the story behind it.
