I loved this song the first time I heard it! I really hope it's released so it'll go to #1 on the country charts. I've always loved listening to Merle and Willie. This song has so much meaning, especially between the two of them... and will touch the hearts of others who get it.

We need to appreciate these legends while they're still here, life is short and it goes by fast, appreciate what you have because the next day it could be gone In a flash, love unconditionally, even your enemies, be thankful for everything because when you're in that hospital bed or wherever else your time comes you'll wish you wouldn't have wasted your life on petty arguments and such and wished you would've took time to look around and love life,. So be there for someone, it could save a life. If you read this to the end thank you and make the most out of your life and pass on this word.

My grandpa (Named David Merle 😁) and I share a love for Willie and Merle. My love for them was sparked because of him, and this song describes our relationship perfectly. He is the most dependable, loving, no matter what, man I have ever known and this song reminds me so much of him. I would have loved to have been raised back when love like this was not so often taken for granted . ❤❤❤
