I looked it up, because GOD I wished it did come from boxing. But nope, pep comes from pepper apparently, as in black pepper. People in the old days (~1800s) used black pepper for energy. Needlessly to say I was severely disappointed :/.

The Greatest boxer of all time! The man who was 108-1-1 before breaking his back and leg in a plane crash, and was told he might never walk again. But just 6 months later, he came back and defended his title successfully. Lost a close decision to Sugar Ray Robinson in the amateurs, and it was close even though Ray was 28 pounds heavier than him. Has more title defences than Robinson as well. 9 successful title defences. Finished his career with a record of 229-11-1. The Goat. 🇮🇹🇮🇹🐐

I gotta believe Willie would be proud if he could watch your video.So well done .This is a work of art worthy of playing on a screen in the MOMA next to a Picasso painting or a sculpture by Rodan and yet it was clearly created with loving care and respect for the subject.The way you synced the progression of his fight strategy throughout the round with the music was masterful as was the innovative and unique style Willie Pep created and thrilled us with for 1,956 rounds . I have to think that the Great Argentinian Light Welterweight Nicolino Locche🍖drew the inspiration for his unique and effective technique fro watching Willie three decades earlier.Thank you
