A Legend and Rock Star
Meet John Lord my Dad who is now in his eighties and a founder of ancient technology within the UK and around the world.
Roots are important in life, and I'm proud to be able to share mine with you.

You've actually got the coolest dad in the history of the human race thus far. He found a Neanderthal butchery site, and plays both the flute and guitar.

Thank you for taking the time to recognise, respect, and honour your Dad as an Elder and custodian of ancient learnt skills. He reflected a truth, that he may have started the journey, but you have embraced a wider knowledge base across multiple disciplines, looking backward in time and projecting forward in technologies. It’s so great to see two men who love each other deeply. How inspirational. Thank you again.

Thanks for sharing, this moment with your dad,i remember watching him on a bbc show many years ago, i never knew flint knapping was a thing, and I was fascinated by it. Years later I found a Will Lord on YT and wondered if you were related. The apple really doesn't fall far from the tree. Cheers from Australia ✌️❤️

I met John and dear Val a few times many years ago, back during the early 80's. Two of the calmest, most warm hearted and relaxed people I've ever met on this entire Earth. I'm sorry Val is no longer with us in this material dimension, but really pleased John is doing well. Best wishes to both of you.

No need for a TV, Hifi or Radio when you've got a Dad who can play and sing like that. What a very talented family you lot are. Lives well lived. Perhaps it's a good thing your Dad never became a rock star in the musical sense but ofcourse he is a "Rock Star" in the context of Flint knapping:) Also lost my Dear old Mum 8 years ago, my Dear old Dad died way back in 1988 aged 58, he was a great Man too.

A brilliant episode, this has to be a spin off tv show, “a glimpse into the Mesolithic with John and Will” two charismatic experts in the field go on a road trip, has to be done, come on BBC this is a winner. If those wallies the Kemps and Walsh father and son duos get tv shows with no substance, you two have massive potential because you walk your talk. Anyway thanks Will, an emotional episode and I have really fond memories of being taught Knaping by your Pa he really is a rock legend 😊

This video is so wholesome and loving it hurts! Not in a bad way though. I don't get to see my boy often, summers and alternate holidays. So this kind of thing makes me miss him and realize all the other things I could show him. So thank you for showing your father's love for you bc not every dad gets to be shown in that light.
