MY THOUGHTS/REVIEW:
I'm personally pretty much sold (purrr)
The clarifying scalp scrub and shampoo was gentle and effective. It has chelating agents so it cuts through all kinds of buildup. Mostly used it on my scalp and definitely felt a difference.
The hydrating shampoo had me GAGGED immediately - the slip and lather was WILD, but the hydrated cleanse was a full spa.
The rice and rose protein ritual delivered on it's promise. You can FEEL it strengthen and moisturize and can SEE it add shine.
The hydrating deep conditioner was rich, highly spreadable, but standard (acknowledging that this could've been different if I had used heat to boost the hydrating factor).
The moisture sealing lotion ATE DOWN. For a lotion with light hold, it was SUPER moisturizing without being oily, had buildable definition, and pretty consistent shine.
The oil is special in it's lightness, sheen and versatility. I'll be using that on my beard. Thanks Beyoncé!
MY ONE MAJOR CRITIQUE: the tops on the bottles are beautiful, but could have a better "hand-feel." Smoother edges, easier removals could easily contribute to a more intuitive opening experience.

I thought to myself that i can buy professional products that are the same price or even less that I know work for me. I have seen more reviews on pattern and taraji products so i might try one day in the future. But i honestly dont think i can ever see myself buying cecred just off being uninterested and seeing the reviews and the price.

I’m not a part of the B-Hive, but I agree with all of this… 33:42 It’s very clear these products are for ALL hair, not just the natural hair girlies because Beyoncé wears her hair in EVERY way. I was a skeptic when a hair care line was first announced but now seeing it all, I think she did the damn thing with this.

Just watched this two more times start to finish, just to see that, and get Will some more views of course. The closest I got to see her hair in the video was ombre braids. If it's for you , then so be it. But the one thing I know coming from a mom (40 years in the game) and 3 sisters (10-20 years in the game) who do hair, is all hair isn't the same, nor can it be treated the same, because they have different needs. Even dealing with the all natural girlies, there are different maintenance levels and requirements due to hair type, whether it's been processed/colored, and skin/scalp conditions. Kudos to her though, but hard pass for me, that's all I 'm saying.@@elijahtheprophet8042

Honestly, Beyoncé is not even the only performer to wear synthetic styles. Like Will said, most of us braid our hair for a week long vacation or business conference, let alone a whole tour schedule! I think that's why the initial products focus on hair health and not hair styling. Regardless of how you wear your hair, you can't just forget about the health. I think the marketing made it clear that's what the main concern was.

I’m glad to see the products have been working for some of the girls. Also I feel like Will gotta sit under the dryer more to get the wash and go he wants. A lot of these creams especially mousse gotta be set with some heat. I noticed a difference myself from air drying and heat setting.

Yup. Imho a hood dryer is an indispensable addition to a natural’s hair care routine. Or a bonnet dryer attachment. And/or a steamer lol Hood dryers used to be so easy to find too, but ngl I’ve had my current one like 8 years, easily. Literally one of the only things I use till it dies, then immediately replace.

This is a weak counter. People are comparing products that are about as old as Bey to this. Folk weren’t as skeptical then/weren’t trying to make sure what they’re using is good. Mielle, Carol’s Daughter’s, etc. they have definitely been critiqued when they were black owned and after they were sold. We know better now so yeah…we’re going to question. And when it comes to your hair, any true cosmetologist is going to tell you products are never going to be one size fits all. Different types need different things. That’s not opinion…that’s facts. Supporting our girl is great but having discernment not to just blindly follow only because it’s Bey is also great. You can be a fan without agreeing with every single thing she releases.

Ppl do not go and research all the ingredients to new brands that end up on the shelves in target. They look at it , see what it does and buy. It is not often that ppl have pitchforks as they do with black women especially. Nothing was sus about this even if you think Bey don’t use it. Head and Shoulders owners don’t be using their stuff I’m sure. Instead of passive aggressive disingenuous comments and critiques do research. They explained everything well and if you need to, email them like any other brand. Til this day they’re denying her hair is even long or full like in her video when we literally wears her hair all the time and you can see it clear as day ! If the reviews were negative there wouldn’t be saying those videos are lies. It’s bs to to do any black woman especially when the info is out there. You have sold me, and I am going to buy this! I plan to wear braids, and the hair care struggle is real for maintenance I usually have to make them myself at home. I adored this review, and although I am not a Beyonce fan, I love good products. One that has been well thought out, studied, tested, and proven to yield results. Beyonce works hard and I dont believe she would attach her name to a poor product, especially in a competitive, opinionated industry, so my skepticism was very short-lived. Thank you for the time and effort you spent onthhis review i made it to the end and was sold!
