Thank you for this! I was going to get the Elvie but with my first pregnancy I had a lot of milk output per side and I prefer a stronger suction and thanks to this comparison Im 100% going with the Willow Go and I like that its more affordable!

Thank you for this comparison and doing it so quickly! Everything I found was the Willow Go vs. the Elvie Stride, but the regular Elvie is by far more comparable! I had already decided on the Elvie until the Willow Go came out. Now I’m thinking of switching to the Go

This was the comparison I was looking for because with my first son I bought the elvie and the suction did not work at all for me, it didn’t empty me and it gave me clogged ducts. So this time I wanted to try the willow but not have to pay again $500, so my other option was the willow go, but again I was worried it was going to be the same as the elvie in suction. So thank you so much for this because I’m due soon and needed to make a decision for my plan to process it. ❤️

I also tried the Elvie with my first child! I could never get it to work for me despite all the hacks. What I really needed was a 19 mm flange I think, which obviously they don’t make for the Elvie. I even tried the Maymom inserts, but no luck. It never emptied me, it was so disappointing. When I saw the Willow Go and that they make a 19 mm flange with it, I was so excited!!! I am fairly certain I am going to get the Willow go, especially with all the great reviews I’ve seen so far!!!! Good luck to us!!! 💕

Will you do a lean over drip test between these two? Because the willow go has no plug. So I’m curious. Say like 3oz are in each or I guess you could do more lol. Thank you!

Bought my Elvie Stride on July 7th and received the pump on July 14th. Started using on Aug 4 after my baby's arrival. There was no suction at all on the pumps on both sides. I contacted customer service right away. I was asked to send pictures of the parts and they admitted of faulty valves. I was offered to have the valves replaced with expedited shipment. But I never received the valves 4 days later and connected customer service again and was told the replacements were never ordered. So, I asked for manager and manager (Damien) told me I need to wait 2-3 more days to get replacements. In the meantime, I have cracked nipples which I can't feed my child with faulty pump. So, I requested for the pump to be returned so that I could purchase one right away on the store and was told I cannot return if deal is broken. I told them their website stated I can return if product is faulty under return policy. The so-called manager said there was miscommunication between sales team and their legal team and their policy was not correct even though it's written on their own website. Then, he told me he will need to contact their sales and product team and legal to find out why that policy is written on their website. Elvie does not care about how their customers are struggling with not being able to feed their child while don't stand behind their own product and quality control. They only care about making money and once they get their money, they don't even follow their own written policy on their site. In the meantime as a new mom, I'm extremely distressed with not being about to feed my child with my own milk during this formula shortage time. If you're out for shopping for a pump, avoid elvie at all cost because they don't stand behind their own product and policy. Once they get your money, they won't do anything to help you if there's any problem with the faulty product. I included the screenshot of their written policy they said they made a mistake and won't follow.

You mention the suction strength is stronger with the Willow Go. Do you know how these compare to the Spectra pump suction strength? I am wanting to get a wearable pump with my second baby. I responded well to the strength of the Spectra with my first, but I did use the higher suction levels.

Hi, is the Willow go have the same suctioning strength like Medela? Or is gentler? The reason I’m asking is because: If the Elvie maybe doesn’t work for me as the suction is gentle, and I have heard people that they haven’t gotten a good amount of milk from it, then I’ll be very frustrated. But at the same time my other concern is if the Willow Go is like the Medela type of suctioning, I’ve heard from friends that the Medela is too strong with your nipple and I know me and I’m very sensitive. So, maybe if a lower level can be as gentle as the Elvie, then I’ll definitely go with the Willow Go.. thanks

A little on the late side but the Go is a hospital grade pump. I believe she states in another video it's not right there with the Medela, but it's close. Other channels have said it is on par with the Medela suction/power wise.

I like the willow go more. The 7 ounce capacity is necessary for my twin supply. Plus with a large chest the Elvie always sat angled in my bra and turned off after like 2 ounces.
